I have done a bit more research. The customer was Iridium not Inmarsat. Company is hopeful that in time Iridium will return to the fold but at present are not counting on it.

Day back in the office today and so I am able to monitor more closely. Noticed the trade. Shame that the systems cannot pick up sales from buys. Yesterday's trades could in fact have been buys. Patience is required with this one. However I believe that the "individual" placees who sold leading up to the 18.02 trading statement and thereafter still have some and are sitting tight. What does however impress me is that the institutions are still supportive and the chairman Geoff Shingles is no fool. You are right in that it is not for widows and orphans but then I am a 60+ male and am game for what may turn out to be very profitable.

I note what you say regarding Inmarsat. My understanding is that Inmarsat sourced a second source of supply - hence the loss of revenues from that customer for H2. Am I right in saying that Inmarsat still buy some product? If so is it beyond the realms of commonsense that Inmarsat might return to Sarantel for more of its product? NB Sarantel also sitting on losses which might be attractive to a bidder. I was pleased that you chose to relook at the Aim R 26 detail - saved me the bother of correcting you!! I stll think that there is good value here.

Were you suggesting that Sarantel is vulnerable to a bid? It could be with this MC. Anyone know whether the trades at 1.05 pence were sales or buys? I was at a meeting all day so could not look.

The results for the year ended 30 September will imo be based on a year of two halves. The first half just ended could be weaker than the H1 last year because of the loss of turnover of two large customers which has already been announced but that could in whole or part be balanced by an increase in revenues from the growing customer base. However i believe that H2 will be a very successful half and whilst the overall position may not result in breakeven let alone profit I believe that the year as a whole will show a good improvement on 2010. I agree with you that the company could go into profit in year 2012. If the market catches up with Sarantel product then one could see exponential growth thereafter. Depending on announcements to the market and no banana skins I think that we will reach 5 pence before the end of 2011. Thanks for declaring your holding. As H Lecter said to the delightful Clarice quid per quo, I stand at 2 million at an average of circa 1.50 pence (if I ignore my original 10,000!!!)

I do not worry about MMs. They effect a turn on stock, try to balance their book and price movements relate to that. However I am still interested in those two 1 mil trades yesterday - buys or sells. The sp moved down yesterday afternoon with TDW so you could buy online for below 1.15 pence. Is the seller still about or not. Perhaps phil01 could help me. I believe that the bod are quite bullish. If we are to have an April trading update pre results it could get interesting. Phil01's analysis of the products is I believe spot on. And do not forget that Geoff Shingles had a big hand in the development of Imagination Techs now a 1.3 billion pound company. Have a good weekend.

your post prompted me to do another dummy run with tdw. To buy 100,000 is 1.35 pence ps.Off to a meeting.

Tht is where one has to be careful because it was recorded as a sell. Today I did a dummy run on TDW 1.15 for 100,000. Did not want to try at a higher dummy run given phil01's comments yesterday as to how the price moved against him/her. Don't know whether a dummy run would do that or not though.

They parted with some earlier in the day but then took on a million plus which may have accounted for what you were offered.

Phil may well be right re end of year tax planning. Phil - thx re ENRT - I just look for opprtunities where I think that there is value and/or future growth. Therefore not just techs. With Sarantel I was introduced to it shortly after the public offering by my then broker who had previously introduced me to some interesting plays. As one knows the investment was a disaster. Having said that i looked in when the December placement took place and noted that previous supporters were still supporting. That took me to averaging down aggressively although I had written off the original albeit humble investment of 10,000 shares at £1.13 from memory. I believe that bod itself knows that the original offering was premature. I think that the company is now on the cusp of success and I (and you both) am right then it is a great entry point. With the two sales totalling 800,000 one can buy with TDW at 1.15 pence. Scuby-do I await the April update with interest and hopefully a good forward looking statement.

Sorry to see that. Not wishing to pour salt onto wounds I have added a million this past week. I did not agree your hypothesis that the sales were year end tax planning although you could well be right. Given your sensible comments yesterday I should not worry about the odd tenth of a penny!!

Excellent post and thinking back both with regard to slg and the comments about internet absolutly right. At this stage I am looking for further confirmation of the retrieval of the "lost" two sales and a decent trading statement indicating a good forward looking position. Having said that once the market does demand greater sophistication with GPS the sales should mushroom and SLG really come into its own. Hopefully we will know more in April. It looks for the present as if sales in volumn have dried up.

That is the gamble and one that I am up for. Not for the nervous but could prove profitable.

You could buy on TDW @ 1.12 pence so I reckon that the 200K was a sell the other two trades buys. Nothing today on Plus. Quite a few buys on Friday on Plus. As phil01 has said the technology is worth money; there is decent support from US military. Let us hope that the sales are still increasing and that the two customers who cut back on orders are back on duty.

Institutions have not been selling. They are firm. We have had RNSs from indvidual December placees who have reduced below 3%. I suspect that some have continued to reduce. Whether it is for end of tax year reasons or not I agree that the sales will dry up. i tok the 6 pence from your comment that the sp will be 5X the current sp within 2 years i.e. 5X 1.2 pence. Pleased to see that you put it higher and within a narrower timeframe. All it needs is a good statement in April for the sales to dry up and for this company to come into the radar to other investors and then TA players for the sp to rerate.

I picked up more on Friday because whilst I cannot disagree that there may well be loose stock about, I believe that the sp will improve in the short to medium term. There was a trading statement in April last year and there is therefore the prospect of a statement this April. We may then hear more as to whether the consumer company that stopped orders from Sarantel in respect of one of their products has started to reorder or whether there are favourable indications that they will do so soon, and whilst one military organisation that had stopped ordering in H1, the last statement said that it had already placed an order for April. There may be a further update in that regard. Therefore if the "lost" two customers return and orders overall (less those two customers) were significantly higher in H1, H2 could prove successful and the company might then be in a position not to have to return to the market for further funds unless a new product demands and justifies it. I agree with phil01 that the expensive end of the market wants the product that only Sarantel can provide and as demand for location products (child and animal finding product etc) requires greater quality so the Sarantel product will come into greater demand and that demand may well stretch to other concepts. All in all I see a recovery back towards 3 pence ps in the medium term and phil01 may be right when he looks for 6 pence within 2 years.
