First site at Plymouth should be live any day now I should have thought... Although more good news is the last thing this SP needs!

Hoping it is simply an issue of timing RE planning decision, in that the meeting (which started at 2) has not come to the point of the agenda discussing PPG before COP. RNS tomorrow first thing I hope!?

Looks like the Bristol site is on the agenda for review again on 28th Sept at 2pm meeting of the Bristol planning committee.. This site has met with some robust opposition thus far, so, a positive endorsement of the model if this should pass this time!!!!!!

I have been invested here since before incarnation of what is now PPG.... so not a short term holder. Long held the belief that this will be a winner.......however.......and as I have alluded to before, I am also becoming intensely frustrated with the lack of substantial news and speed of progress here! Particularly over the last 12/14 months where we have seen the SP ebb and flow off the back of rumours/speculation/good chat.. followed up by very little..... I look at the progress of others (such as SOU, I at 2.5p - now 90+p) and regret the day I ever sold those...

Good detailed report bringing excellent clarity on the business model, current progress and direction. Focus still on non dilutive funding! Exciting times ahead.. however as mentioned below rewards wont be coming overnight. This time next year we should have seen a transformational change in value!

Bristol planning likely to be given at tomorrow's planning meeting?

Doubt it,, but if there are takeover designes then I suppose now is the time to be doing it whilst PPG is so undervalued before things start to motor.

We have had a phantom 'million share' seller(s) around for a while who seem to offload at odd times! Shouldn't be overly concerned if you are looking for a medium term return. Hoping for lots of news very soon!

Thanks Graham, We have had similar reports about the Plymouth site in the past - puzzling as if true it would appear that funding is not the issue!?

IF the delay is funding related (as I say I had thought the early sites were already funded) and IF in the next few weeks we have an RNS announcing a funding package then the brakes are really off!! IF the above holds and we DONT get the announcement in the shape expected then we could be in trouble... Fingers crossed.

Stardrops, you are absolutely right that planning approval should be the most lengthy bit and once approved should move quickly to build stage. This is my very issue! planning at Plymouth was approved 14 months ago - since then where is the update on the progress of the site? I should have thought 4 months or so for the build completion? Update needed as I say!

Significance of Plymouth is that it was the first to be obtained all the way back at start of May 15. South Wales came 6 months later in Nov 15. No doubt we will have the planning for 200MW by end 2017, however it is the build out and actual ability to be GENERATING 200MW we are questioning. If all builds take as long as Plymouth has currently taken we will have no chance of anything like 200MW. We need clarity as to why they are taking so long and assurance that pace will pick up

Yes - Give us confidence that the plan we are investing based upon still holds! This is THE most important announcement I am waiting for.

Fastlane - As far as Plymouth goes, I have to agree with you! This for me is a big question of confidence which we need urgent clarification on from somewhere!!! The whole business plan is based around the building and generating of power from diesel generation sites - target of 200MW by end 2017! If Plymouth is a blueprint for things to come in terms of the pace of progress then this target will not be achieved until at least end 2018, probably 2019. We must have an explanation ASAP on what the issue is here and assurances that whatever the problem is has been resolved for future builds in order for them to be completed in a timely fashion!!!!!
