That's fine that you are a shorter. I haven't yet tried to short so it's alien to me.
So I've a question. Have you a "get out" price? Or are you betting on the collapse of CINE?
I'm just wondering what shorters wait for. Is it sometimes not always possible to get the short covered? I'm genuinely curious.

Why would someone not invested in this SP, come to a forum of this SP and advise everybody to get out of this SP?

The Newport cinema is moot because they have a much bigger multiplex a couple of miles away.
It is currently the only cinema that serves the city.

I don't have a SIPP. But I was thinking about opening one. This has killed that interest.
I'm going to keep my eye on any changes to my ISA T&Cs.

Interesting. I am with Freetrade and use an ISA.
They do a SIPP and recently I had a terms and conditions email and they have started loaning out shares in that SIPP. It even stated that you could actually lose shares that way and they wouldn't be liable for losses.
So is it just a matter of time until this happens to my ISA? Or is there a legal framework to stop this happening?

All these tech stocks that benefited from covid are now coming back to earth.
People will be going back to normal life soon. OK, we have inflation to deal with, but stocks that crashed when covid came along, will now start pulling back.
There will be some good opportunities to make some serious money.

It's macro related. The world markets are in a sell off.
It could bounce if some positive data arrived. But if that data doesn't arrive it could be a bloodbath.

The market is in a bad place. It's not done and dusted yet though.
Only half of the macro data is pointing to a crash.
So this is not a place for the faint hearted.

The whole macro is looking bad. Everything seems to be falling.

Hello shorters. Don't worry I'm buying more.

Markets are bracing for a big drop. It could go either way but it might be worth holding on a bit longer.
I'm not an expert but I've been taking an interest in how the fed works. There are many indicators that we are heading for this drop. Not all are lined up yet, but it could happen very quickly. This market drop could be the institutions moving their money. Unfortunately for us retail, we don't tend to find out until it is too late.

The Netflix model looks to be in a lot of trouble. Covid was to be the making of it. It has turned out to be just another bubble.
