Pfc are rising because John Wood group have given clarity on a legacy contract that they've done their balls on . Plus they have said that there won't be any surprises in the delayed results . Still very good news for pfc they can rise on the coat tails of John Wood group . We just need jwg to conclude their forthcoming sale to further re rate the shares .

I personally don't object to nuclear and the recent events have opened the door to all the options eg fracking wind on land etc . BUT AND ITS A BIG BUT talk is cheap Nuclear power stations ain't available off the shelf the last time I looked and will take decade's to get up to quota so I the mean time petrolatum should have rich pickings from contracts that can be started in 12 months.

Point taken , unfortunately we cannot get away from covid and adnoc debacle that has caused a freeze in orders won but like the board have just stated in results "As the year progressed, the market showed signs of recovery and over 90% of order intake was secured in the second half of the year." This bodes well for the future order pipeline. atb

Old news is tomorrow's chip paper, in other words this was last updated in Feb and adnoc happened in March. It will be interesting to see the next quarterly update.

Sami Iskander has highlighted that prospective clients are playing hard ball and are reluctant to place orders at present but with the pivot to renewable energy and a change of axis to where Europe gets the majority of its gas from this has created a huge opportunity for the likes of petrofac etc. Understandably the market needs to see green shoots before it does the polar reverse to the petrofac share price and pumps it into overvalued territory but the share has the perfect profile to do just that seeing how far the decline has been in recent times.
