Limit orders trigger automatically and sometimes get you a better price than live orders hecne why i use them

@rag well I hardly gained. I was fortunate and boo has quite a narrow spread and no stamp duty. But it could have gone the other way. But my view was that I might risk a small loss of holding vs the huge fall if fleagate gained traction (I fully agree it wasn’t a real issue but 1.4m tik tok views now)

Also with variable change it wasn’t to talk the share down. It was more aimed at common sense to investing. Yeah something makes sense one day but what if something material occurs. You may need to reasses

Boeing is a good example. Great long term business but when planes started falling from the sky you saw more than a few $s come off the price. That’s a variable change. A brand know for quality and excellence. Kind of a big deal of the new plane they invested billions in isn’t safe

So I managed to get back into boo at a price less than I paid so a few "flea" extra shares. However it was really refreshing holding the cash as it made me reevaluate what I'd made so far and where we were expecting to be. The talk on here is £4 and that's likely with the current business. The unfortunate position with market place and new acquisitions is investors might be unwilling (well almost certainly so) to pay up while there is nothing concrete. So while £4 looks great it is actually only 10% higher from where we are. And then possible stagnation?

So i've moved some cash into other businesses which again fit my same investment thesis as
- leader in the sector
- strong defensible position (model and brand)
- organic growth and M&A potential
- the market itself is in structural growth (e.g like the trend to online shopping)
- profitable and cash generative

The two stocks i've added are Ramsdens Plc and Sanne Plc. I'd be happy to explain the story on both but think they are worth a look at

I still have some more to deploy so if there are no boo dips i'll let you know what else I pick up

This doesn't change my view on boo just that I think in next 6/12 months you might see more gains elsewhere to be back with more cash ready for the marketplace

No change to the policy so yeah should be looking at two payments of 24c

Yeah I didn’t say any of this I just said I’d wait to make sure this flea thing doesn’t get blown out of proportion

Somehow fleas and clothes seems to be a combo most on this board are happy with. I’d hate to see inside your houses! Must be awful as the rest of us don’t live with fleas

I’m not sayin re evaluate I’m saying variable change. If online sales tax is 40% would that not change your view? If boohoo says margin will halve would that not change your view? If boo lost 1m customers in a weekend would that not change your view?

My point was it’s variable change and media thirsty for boohoo. The problem with the stock is that from 16:30 on Friday until 8am Monday there’s zero way to react to variable change on what was a potentially damaging story (as again guys fleas in clothes isn’t normal - please clean your houses)

I said on my posts Friday if this goes away then variable change hasn’t occurred so story in tact so I’d buy back in

Things change but apparently you must stay glued to boo. Jesus this is a stock not a cult. You’d think some of you are sacrificing a lamb over this.

Sorry yeah I know that an EV car uses a lot more copper it’s the battery in the chassis part in confused on. Just seems to talk about carbon fibre?
