Hello rob. I thought you might pick up on my "new playmate" I have known moni on here for many years now, before your time on here. He is all over the place with his posts at times,but he makes me laugh. Even when I compliment him, he still wants to have an argument (sorry intelligent adult disagreement) as moni would say. He has been calling the vod sp down for years now as he gets great pleasure in telling all of us, in his very modest,"humble opinion" (i.m.h.o) I think he wants a medal for his predictions, but when he doesn't get one, he gets upset. I have been trying to humour him lately, but not sure if is working, so wish me luck with that one. As for Mikey, I just wish he would stick to what he is good at, facts he has learnt from his long time as an employee at vodafone, not ski slope predictions. So good luck rob, Mikey, comrade moniman & everybody else who knows me, as they say! Hope the vod sp hits a pound soon, as Mikey used to say, Ironic or what? Djones. Vodafone doesn't always drop more than the divi on ex divi day. On the last 2 ex divi days it closed down roughly the same as the divi. Please check your facts before posting on here.

Hello robleo & others , I think it's worth pointing out that on the last 2 ex divi days the vod sp fell by 3.88p & 3.68p so about the same as the divi. It may be wise however to buy after ex divi, especially if you pay divi tax. Personally I need to sell some vod shares held outside my I.S.A. at some stage to avoid divi tax. Good luck rob.

monoman. We all know vod has been a disaster over the last few years. I have even given you credit in the past for some of your comments & predictions. But now you are getting very boring with your (I told you so repetition), so do us all a favour & go away.

Oh well. Even more expense, moving more shares into an I.S.A. At least we have until April. I can remember when you paid no divi tax on non i.s.a. shares, & you could even claim money from the tax man on your divi if you transfer'd the shares to your wife as a non tax payer. Those were the days.
