Hello fleccy. You mention Orange as a possible merger. I don't know if you realise that vodafone used to own Orange, but were forced to get rid of them due to regulations. Orange was floated on the UK stock market a long time ago, but was taken over by Mannisman, which was in turn taken over by Vodafone. Orange was sold to the French, but later I believe, Orange was re floated. All very complex. I hope that vodafone can get some kind of merger sorted out soon though. & of course we need someone good in charge, as soon as possible.

Oh Gutterboy. Of course being bearish on a stock is not whinging. I have many times welcomed bearish posts on here as I like a balanced view. What I don't welcome, are whingers. It might help if you read my posts properly , before responding, that way, you might make more sense. Good luck with that one?

meshtrader. You say" the spectrum auction process is a scam,why does it only apply to telco's, why not the drug industry". I agree that spectrum charges are crazy, but to use drug companies as a comparison is way off the mark surely?. I think many sick people who rely on drugs would find an auction similar to telco's on drugs outrageous.

Guttersnipe. If I had such a low opinion of company management, as you clearly have, I would keep well away from the stock market all together. Narcus. I take your point, but obviously in the long run you want the share price to rise, preferable after the option start date. If I were going to join a share option scheme, I wouldn't want the share price to fall before the option date, especially if I already owned shares, or previous share options, unless I was guaranteed the price would go back up again afterwards. Whatever the option price is, 20% discount is good deal. Of course if you are suggesting the sp can be falsely held down before the option price is set, & allowed go up after, then that might make sense, but I don't think that is possible. DenFos. How can these have hit an all time low when they were less than 91p about a week ago? I hope you are not another moaning vod/ex vod employee. (No disrespect to the ex vod duo on here). Are you anti share buy schemes. Obviously if you are in a share buy scheme, you want the price to rise, not fall, so you make no sense with saying the lower the better.
