George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Just to add, it's not me :D
Obviously something negative is going on, we just tanked
Somebody got shot of 1.5m + shares today…
Please, just press ‘reply’.
£3m...?
Ah gotcha. I thought it was £15m us and trying to get £30m elsewhere.
So if everybody takes their rights, we don’t actually need any of the other cash?
Why has it not been mentioned by anybody yet that 'we' could contribute more than the £15m?
At the moment the 19:1 will raise £15m. But it could raise £20m. Or £25m. I'm sure the FCA won't care if it raises more, so long as it meets the threshold given.
If the BOD can't secure the £45m they want through II's, why wouldn't / couldn't they look to us?
I'd rather pony up a bit more cash to own more of the company than end up with nothing...?
I suspect the sale was never actually expected to happen. It's a good bartering chip in the debt for equity negotiations - if they know XYZ will bid $3bn for the assets then anybody taking on the debt in exchange for shares also knows a minimum amount of money they could get back in the event of dumping assets.
I'll happily sit and watch this play out. Only got 20,000 or so shares now, I sold most on the rise last year (having averaged down on the drop) for a small profit and kept these as free play. Not selling them till they 5 bag. If they don't, they don't.
Oh yes, well done everybody who bought and lost a bit more money...
This is getting silly now. May as well burn £50 notes.
Plenty of good films still to come this year, "should" be a brilliant year for box office take...

Whether it's £2.50 or £1.99 at the time is the question!

Looks very experienced. Good appointment.
Yeah, good news is never announced in advance - it's always kept hidden until the last possible minute.
No, wait, that's bad news.
Stop ramping and accept the reality that others of us have accepted - we're invested in a company with great potential but in desperate need of a competent BOD.
Another charting millionaire. They're everywhere.
Oh, wait.
Charts are *******s, I've yet to meet a millionaire from charting. Surely, if they're always right, people should all be minted?
Probably more related to there having only been 10 trades today, 9 of which were sells.
I think the bigger issue is that funding had to be drawn down by 31st december, so that would suggest RM knew it wasn't happening on or before that date.
Today is the 10th of January.
That information was sensitive and would impact share price so absolutely had a legal obligation to report.
I want to know why the wait...
