Price is going to tank when we do come out (we’ve already given away a good chunk of previous value so that’s not being negative, it’s just reality). We’ll just have to wait it out.

Take the auditors - we’ve been told they’re both ‘looking for new ones and will update’ and also told ‘the new auditors are working on the accounts’.

It can’t be both. It’s not hard. Trust comes from transparency - I’m not expecting the inner workings of the boardroom but I do expect the basics.

I think you’re exceedingly optimistic about our return to the market. Plenty of hurdles to overcome yet.

If we don’t get an RNS for receipt of funds tomorrow then I’m going to stick my neck out and say it’s gone pear shaped. Good news is the only news this company shares on time.

In the RNS on the 19th, the report included this line

‘The board have initiated the process of appointing a new audit firm and will update our stakeholders accordingly once the selection process is complete’

Before the report, in the actual main RNS content, it said;

‘Furthermore work has begun on the audit for the year ended 30 June 2024 with the company’s new auditors’.

A lot of GCAT staff were ‘open to work’ on LinkedIn as far back as February.

Given there’s been way more going on than we’ve been told, do we have legal recourse when all our money disappears only for Robbie to come back after a prepack? Can’t see why anybody would invest now when buying out of admin would be cheaper.

Unfortunately, for as long as the Robbie FanBoiz are here to tell us we’re all wrong (OCIM walked, RNS always gets checked by the worlds finest lawyers and advisors and you must never question the gospel word they produce, city contacts say PKF are useless and if it weren’t for them we’d have accounts on time, 10 days to advise of bad news is fine if you’re ’working hard’) then people will get away with it.

I agree - nobody here is ramping. We’re in suspension.

We do have some optimists, some pessimists, some realists. For example - OCIM didn’t walk. OCIM set terms and we couldn’t meet them.

Even with a healthy smattering of turd polishing, you cannot possibly lay blame at PKFs door for us not having announced funding 10 working days after it being due.

We were told we’d hear when audit had a timeline - we haven’t.

We were told we’re not mining - no further update

We were told tranche 2 of funding due 31st - no further update

I know they’re shocking at comms, but this is beyond a joke.

Wishful thinking. HL hasn’t shown anything for a while, it depends on what feed your broker uses.

.272 and 27.2 is a typo. Probably due to a manual correction on a feed to avoid shares disappearing.

Funding happening or not happening is market sensitive though. They can’t just sit on it because we’re coming out of suspension.

And we can’t be coming out anyway, we were promised an updated audit timeline when available. That hasn’t happened, so clearly the company still doesn’t have one…

We should have had an update by now, one way or the other. It’s not hard.

This company is a shambles.

If this funding has gone sideways, I’ll be surprised if we’re solvent.

Where is Jersey these days? I need some of his overwhelming yet horrendously misplaced confidence in Robbie.

With GCAT, good news is always on time.

Bad news seems to take them a while.
