The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi Cupid,
Probably all 3 - patience is a virtue! Unfortunately I don’t have much of it and am itching for product release.
….. enjoy the ride
Arman, would be really surprised if they aren’t. Jodie Sander was Director of Business Development at Birchbox before joining CBX. Is it a coincidence that they were launching for Autumn and held back to December after her appointment in August? Maybe it is a coincidence ….. will be really surprised if they haven’t. She will know the figures regarding translation of samples into sales as part of the Birchbox marketing and sales strategy!
Exciting times ahead. I’m actually looking forward to trying some of these digestible products myself! Skin care range looks promising too.
I think you got your “shares to fall sharply” ….. now hold tight for the acceleration. Maybe not today, tomorrow or even this week. BUT it will happen. Marketing is gaining momentum. It’s started and I’m super excited to be on this journey! This is the FIRST time I’ve invested in a start up. Nervous but equally exhilarated by what’s to come next.
Amazing senior leadership team. What’s not to like?
GB I think your right.
RRat had a good point to make. I certainly haven’t been able to call it very well over the last 3 weeks. I truly think this is shakeout and we are going to see a huge acceleration. I’ve looked at all sorts of charts and comments, and looking at my own data, I can’t see any other reason.
Im super excited. Birchbox is going to MASSIVE for them. 4 million subscriber in the U.K. and USA. Meaning direct access to the doorstep with product samples.
Genius if you ask me!!
It’s an amazing senior leadership team.
Fergie, this is why I think it’s a shakeout. It’s been going on for weeks. Normally (FTsE 100, 250) there are clear trends. With CBX (recently over the last 3 weeks) - I’ve noticed some more unusual activity. I’ve done my own homework and the only thing that fits is an accumulation phase D event. It wouldn’t surprise me if we see some significant trades in the next 48hrs.
Somebody on here suggests the 7th of December for an announcement. I don’t think they are wrong.
As I’ve pointed out previously the connection between CBX and Birchbox is interesting and likely to be leveraged.
Direct extract from Birchbox.
Birchbox Beauty Subscriptions ship by the 10th of each month. Birchbox Grooming and Grooming Plus Subscriptions ship by the 25th.
An announcement on the 7th for a huge advertising push from this point forward with Birchbox with CBX products shipped on 10th.
Arman, won’t list in the US but highly likely to distribute and sell. DB investment is there for a reason in my opinion.
Fergie, I used this at the beginning of last week to predict share movement. I had it pegged at 15p based on volume and applying Level 2 strategy. My prediction bombed. Which is why I think we are in a Phase D accumulation. Thus price can’t be accurately depicted as the it’s designed to cause confusion. Welcome you thoughts. I’ve read that the next price bar is 13p before it breaks and finds it’s market level?? I’m finding it difficult to work and predict the movement of this share.

Jodie Sanders
Commercial & Partnerships Director (CBX)
Jodie has over 20 years experience working in senior commercial and brand strategy roles with global beauty, lifestyle, media and homeware brands and holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. Her previous roles include, Director of Business Development at Birchbox, a digital-first beauty subscription brand, Global Communications and Partnerships lead for Wedgwood and Waterford, Brand Manager at Royal Doulton and Head of Non-Food and Gift Licensing for Jamie Oliver.
You don’t make appointments like this if you don’t want to leverage human capital. Direct marketing via Birchbox will give CBX access to 4 million potential customers! Even if they only translate 1% of that into direct sales that’s still a significant amount.
Amran,
10,000 ….. meh!
I’m more impressed with 4 million!! That’s how many subscribers Birchbox has in the U.K. and USA. That means direct access to 4 million potential customers in one single hit. Product straight to the door by way for marketing.
CBX is ready to make an impact! A HUGE impact.

I think it’s MM at the moment. However, reading some of the positions that big houses such as Barclays Wealth are holding I would expect bigger volumes.
It reads like an accumulation phase D. If this is correct there is expected to be resistance at 13p before it really accelerates up to 20p (or beyond).
Senior leaderships reads like the a year book of the good and great!
Business manager from Birchbox - expect Birchbox to carry CBX products as a marketing tool.
Birchbox is very popular and gets products into peoples bathrooms quickly and establishes the brand, and delivers opportunity for sales!
Genius!!
BC2021 - very reassuring!!
Just been doing some more research on the team they have assembled! Wow!!
“Director of Business Development at Birchbox” - if you know anything about Birchbox it was the first and highly successful launch of sample boxes to subscribers. It’s makeup and the like.
This company isn’t messing about with the team it’s assembled.
I’ve done a compare and contrast against its competitors and I cant see anything comparable in the synthetics field. Someone correct me if I’m wrong??
Starting to get excited. Monday morning will be very telling.

Cannabis: A versatile plant farmed over thousands of years for its medicinal and recreational properties.
Cannabinoids: Not cannabis. They are a group of compounds naturally produced by the cannabis plant with studied therapeutic applications.
CBD: The best known cannabinoid, a significant body of scientific research supports its ability to regulate sleep, mood, pain and inflammation.
CBG: One of the so called ‘minor cannabinoids’, rare but one of the most promising new skincare ingredients due to its properties as an anti bacterial, anti-redness, and anti-inflammatory active.
Look at the charts. 100% an accumulation. Look towards % sold vs % bought. Volume is a key indication. However, if volumes aren’t there you have to play smaller.
Wyckoff accumulation at play. HOLD your nerve! It’s a shake out. Don’t be tempted to sell. This is what big players do to scare small players out of the market. Market Manipulation!
The same this was happening with Ocado. It’s bottomed and is on the rise but it will be bumpy back up to the top.
Abbo. That made me smile! ??
Probably because it was a bid with a large open position and it was an accumulation.
Jackie,
Maybe this will help explain what I believe is going on.

Others on here have eluded to the same. There are some big players wanting a slice of the action. They don’t want to be overly affected by a rally so they accumulate smaller positions - Without trying to affect the price too much. The link explains it better than I can. What we see no is a “shake out”. This is likely to repeat the same pattern for week. However, still upward growth.
Hope that helps explain things.
