Germany re fires up coal powered stations whilst Active energy sits on its hands and watches more opportunities pass it by
I suppose on the flip side as investors we can’t kick ourselves for backing this donkey as it’s the right idea and timing would of been spot on
Just the board does seem not interested in making it happen and would rather bleed the company dry and like locusts once done move on to an AIM business coming to you soon
Why has this lost over 20% this week ? Purely marker sentiment ?
Why is the prices so depressed ? I get market sentiment but most airlines say they are above 2019 levels and RR earn a chunk of change from the plane engines being used
Surely this bodes well ?
All depends on net profit per passenger per flight
Does anyone know this Stat ?
It was closer to 200 cancelled flights I believe
But if we say only 60 get full compensation then that’s just under £3,000,000 in pay out at £220 per seat
To update on my compensation claim I have had it swiftly and with no argument approved. That instills me with some faith back in to brand EasyJet but there were 3 further planes that day alone that were cancelled in a similar way so you would assume full refunds and compensation for all that have claimed
What goes down will come back up as this is a great price to buy in at but I think once news comes out of the full extent of costs incurred it will still drop more
Indetix profits up 80%
Share price up 5%
Tough crowd !!!
EasyJet getting a pasting at the moment with Compensation stacking up and shares trickle down a point here and a point there
National Express deliver a strong and positive update, no bad press no negativity and this happens
Really ?
There’s de-ramping and there’s stating fact
I’m afraid I think you fall in to the category of stating fact and it’s time I gave up hoping I’ll get my 30 large back at over 3p a share !!!
EasyJet is a great brand and despite being one of the unlucky ones on Friday and getting asked to leave the plane due to the flight being cancelled will fly with them again. People forget and great brands bounce back but I do feel in the short to medium term it could get quite choppy, as they say “buy on the dips and hold for the highs”
Not sure if they do say that but it sounds like something they would say
Compensation is separate thing
Under 1500km it’s about £200 a ticket
Then goes up in two more increments based on distance getting to a maximum of £520
Forever never,
Make sure you get your Compensation claim in
The rise in energy costs will not bite until October and will have a knock on effect to 2023 holidays. I think the SP will rise throughout the summer as more people get away for the first time in years but then flatline as the pent up demand drops.
I was one of the unfortunate on Friday and I can state that the cancellations are not due to a lack of tourists. 2 planes full of passengers were all cancelled at the same time as the one I was on, the cancellations will hit the bottom line because (unless I am mistaken) even if you are lucky enough to get a flight the following day you will still get a Minimum of £200 compensation
6 sets to a row
40 rows
240 seats x £200 each seat
3 planes on Friday evening and that was just Gatwick
Then multiply that by the rest of the following week
Be interested to know the average profit made per plane
Then you can work out how much the Compensation will affect the already battered balance sheet
You’re right Magnet, I meant Lumberton
Should of paid more attention during geography at school !
Think they are moving their machinery out of Canada, took about 2 yrs to get from Utah to Canada so we will be in for a long wait.
Be nice to know the results from the test burn last year, that said they wouldn’t be able to supply any product if it went well so all rather irrelevant
All to play for the next Quarter, if they start winning the contracts they are alluding to then today will be long forgotten and this share will go above recent highs
Is there a chance that news is being held back whilst the buy back is happening ? I would of assumed that this would of been stronger and not affected as much as the overall market
Market is all made up
Some stocks have price based on future earnings
Some stocks have price based on here and now
Some stocks have huge debt to fund growth and do well
Some stocks use profits to fund growth and do badly
To be honest I wish I had stuck with property rentals, 8% yield, I know where I am and in control
As my stocks clean their noses and give me a bit back I’m selling and will be buying a couple more houses to rent
As with some of you I’ve been invested here for years and feel a bit cheated to say the least, so a couple of questions
When is the next AGM ?
Can I just rock up ?
Can I ask questions randomly ?
Why ? Not doubting you and would love it to as wife hates me for not selling before the results when it was around £1.20, well she probably hates me for lots of other reasons to be fair !!
