Several mining stocks on my watch list getting a battering today (Cora -5.1% / XTR -4.1% / GGP -6.5%), so we need to understand the wider market a wee bit more before throwing all our angst at the BOD.

Hmmmm.......all those who took fright yesterday and off loaded must be sitting in their arm chairs thinking: maybe the wrong move.

So loads of PI's sold at 25p / 24p and I am sure a few sold for less after reading the de-ramping BS on here. The string of posts declaring Jason Ward had resigned was so ridiculous it was comedy gold.
King of the de-rampers: Red (resently off loaded a huge chunk of shares) response to the JW post was 'FFS' - suggesting that the post was fact. I would not be surprised if I receive a convoluted reply stating that: 'the Red one would never partake in such rhetoric' - nonsense my friend.

So, the SP is not much lower than 3 days ago (Wed +5% /Thu -9% / Fri +3%) which is approx 1% down (FA).

Many have stated on this BB that what happens is the PI's take fright, the II's in turn snap up the cheap shares before the rocket is launched - it's all being played out before our eyes, but this PI is not for turning.

Just to recap on the last few days news: an employee has left the Company. This employee may have been the linchpin in a failed equity raise - that's it.
So, we still have ALL the resources / we have new and highly skilled professionals joining the Exec team / the value of our resources is ever increasing (making low ball bids more difficult), etc.
Too many are guilty of falling into the snares left by the majors who's ONLY goal is to acquire SOLG for FA.

Smoke and mirrors my friend. As with the rest of us I do not know when the big play will be made, but there has been steady progress on all sorts of levels so something has to and will give IMO.

The market knows Solgold is not a mining Company. Yet, we are becoming a Company with top drawer mining expertise (personnel).
There was an article months back discussing one of the main issues for major minors is not acquiring the resource, but the skill-set required to carry out the works.
Well I never - Solgold is now on a position where it has measured one of the top Copper resources Globally, but it has now the management structure to make it happen.

In answer to Elish's comment a while back - a buy out of SOLG, but keeping the Management structure (subsidery) to not only realise Cascabel but keep the natives happy and carry on regional exploratory works.

A bid / JV announcement will come. We have 4 high calibre Execs (Inc CFO) joining SOLG within the space of a couple of months.
They would not have signed up without bullet proof assurances that SOLG is on the verge of hitting the big time.

You should have spent more time reviewing the last RNS and asked yourself why has such a high calibre Production Engineer joined the Exec team etc.
I will give you a clue to the answer - it's not because SOLG is going it alone in 5 yes time with the help of Quads & Co.

You are taking a risk having sold and looking to buy back a few % cheaper.
If a JV agreement announced on Monday you will be a wee bit ****ed off my friend.

If confirmed & when the next RNS lands we are back up to 35-40p, then a brief stop @ 55p on the road to £1.32 =-).
