But most of our journeys are short so does most miles on green electricity ( you can specify you want this with your provider). Looking to see if we could further reduce our co2 with our own PV and battery system. The respiratory deaths from diesel emissions of PM20 are 10s of 000s

Anyone put in a system? Friend has just paid 18k (!) for 20 panel system and a Tesla lithium battery. I mentioned fire risk....!! Looking, none of the UK providers offer anything but lithium. Had anyone here put a system in? With electric vehicles, makes increasing sense?
