Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
Thanks UKSG _ that's quite encouraging - and boy we could do with some good news.
Anyone know what happened to the mooted tender date - sure I saw on here it had been re-scheduled for 30.4.2022 - but nothing ?
Did I read it incorrectly ?
HC - you are right . Management overexuberance has well and truly trashed sentiment in this company. The market is taking a long time to forgive and forget the woefully over-optimistic guidance from 2017 -2019 - not just last year.
Nail on head SF.
HS -that's the frustration - we have no bl00dy idea as no-one tells us what it actually translates into!! And I still don't really understand why we didn't settle in cash as 12m shares being dumped into the market (almost inevitably) will not do much to help the share price.
So, I have been musing on the reasons for the disappointing SP progress.
If we think (as the majority of posters on here seem to):
1. The company are hitting (and possibly exceeding) their production targets
2. Vanadium per kg sales prices significantly exceed the costs of extraction and BMN is profitable
3. Kiln 3 and other work progresses as planned to further expand production
4. The mini grid progresses on schedule as does the electrolyte facility
5. Eskom are shortly (well sometime in 2022!!) to award contracts for BESS after tender and BMN / consortium will get a proportion of these
What could possibly be holding the SP back
1. Selling by Duferco who do not believe that the SP to appreciate is likely to rise or at least will not do so within an acceptable timescale for their needs
2. Management failing repeatedly in the past to meet targets they themselves have set and new investors do not believe they can remedy this.
3. BOD not keepingthe market / potential investors adequately up to date with large areas of the company's business
4 No one in the mining industry thinking the company is cheap and worthy of an attempted takeover.
5. A belief that the current predictions for vanadium shortage worldwide are incorrect
Well, interested to see what others would add to the lists as major factors either way.
My thoughts too , SoF. I'm totally sick of additional shares being given to parties who just sell off and keep the SP rock bottom. It has now happened on many occasions and FM just does not learn. Anyone (except pdub) really believe the management are doing a good job now?
But someone did give me a laugh by noting that BE is not priced into the valuation. Six blo0dy years we have waited for something concrete from BE ....and still nothing.
.......Churchill's analysis was only part of a formula that seems as relevant now as it was then. Perhaps, he said, "There is a key" to the riddle of Russia, concluding, "That key is Russian national interest."
SPOT ON EVEN TODAY 80 YEARS LATER
I really hope the immediate (or even rapid) relaxation of sanctions is not an option. Would mean that Putin in effect gets off Scot-free. Russia MUST pay reparations for the damages in Ukraine. This would also look like a re-run of the unprovoked Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939 which ended with huge Russian losses against a staunch Finnish defence , but where Russia was allowed to keep 9% of Finnish territory . We simply cannot go allowing Russia to profit from unprovoked attacks on any sovereign nation it chooses. Churchill had it right in 1945 when he wanted (but did not get) much harsher treatment of the Russians
Ben , I think you might be a bit more grumpy if you had held shares in this since October 2013 , as I have. Its been an initially very exhilarating , but latterly very frustrating 8 year wait for a return on investment.
John , your last sentence says it all. And if past performance is anything to go on , that is a big caveat. I currently don't have the faith I once did in either MN or FM being able to take this forward in the way I would like. It's all very well building infrastructure, but you have to deliver on your aspirations in a reasonable timescale if the MCAP and SP are to follow in a positive way. Not surprised that we are falling again. If you look at if critically , the BOD have provided nothing concrete to tell the market what we are about for some time now.

I think this will go over $60k and possibly further
I have waited a long time for this SP to go up, but almost all of the elation that it is rising has been taken away by the fact that it is only doing so on the back of the destruction of the Ukraine and the loss of life there. :-(
