@ stw and Roscon. Glad it was of help. The Jeremy Vine piece is here ( thanks Paludina for link) https://chirb.it/3hqgDr
My posts with text to my MP and to BBC R2 are at 08.23.
It does seem as if the planners are just not taking fire risk into consideration. This is Tesla car fires x many hundreds in size potentially.
And just Google Liverpool Carnegie Road Battery for pictures of the fire in the UK last year.
Anyone wany one of those on their doorstep?
Unexplained by any development announced by the company or even hinted at. This rise looks really really exciting as something big must be behind it as volume is still low and isn't due to the return of the herd. US realising it's fooked without Vanadium would do it.....
Dear Ms McVey,
As we try to reduce climate change and increase our use of renewable energy, we need good reliable and SAFE energy storage solutions.
There are two main types of batteries available for gridscale storage. Lithium and Vanadium. The risks of Lithium storage batteries and the benefits of Vanadium batteries are very clear. One major risk of Lithium is fire.
The brand new Lithium battery in Australia being built by Tesla has just gone on fire spewing highly toxic gas into the atmosphere so that people have been warned to stay indoors.
The recently completed one in Carnegie Road in Liverpool also exploded and set on fire.
We continue to build Lithium batteries in the densely crowded UK.
MPs and planners seem to be unaware of the risks of Lithium. Can you assure me that there will be a careful evaluation of the risks of any storage solutions being built in your constituency?
My email to my MP. Suggest anyone concerned does the same.
Sent from my Galaxy
Email and text to JV. We need to bang on doors. We are building bombs in populated areas in the UK.
Jeremy ran an item on energy storage a few months ago. I contributed to the phone in discussing the risks of Lithium storage batteries and the benefits of vanadium batteries. One risk of Lithium is fire.

So, I dont understand what you are trying to achieve. If you really are a shareholder, you are posting constantly negative comments. Your aim is...? And this is a comment from someone who has been cautious about share prospects for some time....!
Nin - I feel that way too. I have a huge amount in here. I cannot risk any more. The Directors aren't risking any new money either to be fair. If your committed LTHs are all in (and many are here) and you have no newsflow to attract new investors then you have a problem.
I take no pleasure at all in my generally pessimistic bent playing out as correct here .
I have written today to Chika asking her to actually put my email in front of FM and NM as if things don't improve shortly then I for one would vote for change.
Pdub. I applaud your boundless enthusiasm and optimism and I refrained from posting negative comments yesterday. But " excellent" is not a word I would use - and the failure of the SP to rise much sort of suggests many took that view. Solid, yes. The levels they now achieve and which you applaud are still below the levels RNSd on 22 .8.2018 :Phase Two of the Vametco expansion project, comprising the commissioning of the third primary mill and secondary crusher, was successfully completed within budget and on time. This phase of the expansion project increases annualised production capacity to 3,750 mtV, from 3,035 mtV achieved in Phase One, which was completed in Q3 2017. We expect to see gradual increases in output over the course of H2 2018 as the operation ramps-up to the 3,750 mtV rate.
FM has acknowledged they overpromised but to still be below a level that they believed was achievable as a result of work completed in Q3 2017 takes the gloss off the RNS for me. Still, currently highly profitable and surely surely has to start rising soon I hope.
Think we have some of this lying around:

Plumbing new depths of sentiment for me at present. I was underwater in 2003 and again about 16 months ago , but held on as I believed we were about to see the forecast increases in production filter through and something from the 6 year gestation of BE.
