Wow. This is now really depressing .
As tough as the days 5 years ago psychologically in my personal view - as then the financial amounts were much smaller.
I've bought more in the 20s believing the bottom had been reached but seems I was wrong.

And a while to wait before the results are out as we have tended to post them right at the deadline in the past - Fortune , if they're ready , now would be a good time please.....

Fortune and BOD putting together a huge operation here. Stunned that the market has reacted to the last two RNSs with virtual indifference. About 3p a share up on SP before Vanchem deal and this RNS effectively confirming increased production at Vametco. I'm speechless at the way this SP defies my expectations.

But I don't understand the comments about illegality. I may be naive, but if there is a willing large seller offloading a large chunk of shares who has not specified a particular lower limit to sell ( I.e. instructed transactions at market)... the MMs are well within their rights to sell when they like. I also don't really see how this helps the MMs to fill the short they appear to have open?
Any explanations gratefully received!

I am keeping up. Your post 29 April said bought 50k 4 days in a row. That's 400k. I hope you would be fair enough to say if you're selling as well. Otherwise it might be seen as disingenuous.

So......... The fantastic deal to buy a functioning processor from Vanchem at a fraction of the price of new build has added a princely 5p a share...is it me or has the world gone mad.

Pdub. Yes. And at one level i've also been of the same view as i have accumulated throughout even up to a buy at 48p and not sold any - despite some inferring that I was trading. I just haven't been as positive as some. Healthy self doubt to balance the sometimes over optimistic views that had been expressed. Anyway all the best with the chemo.

Agreed Qwerty. There couldn't have been a worse time for a 7 month hiatus in significant news just after a series of somewhat disappointing events. And if it is large IIs selling the niggle is : why?

Pdub. If that's for me, I could only comment your arrogance knows no bounds. It's a fact isn't it? Over the last 6 months Alfa has consistently exposed the excess of buys whilst the SP has fallen. I now no longer even bother looking at buy:sell ratios as it tells you nothing.

Yes. But unfortunately bitter experience has taught us that means very little in terms of effect on SP. I no longer even work it out.
