RE: Directors Talk Interview19 Feb 2022 20:37
@latorre, thanks :)
Been looking at other analyst notes that dont give the share price, so been trying in improve my knowledge so I can understand the numbers.. Thought I understood our note but realised I did'nt...
NAV table page 10, been getting to grips with that..looks an error in the table for risked values..
but I am probably wrong, well maybe
According to our initial note Dec 2020,( long time ago) the NAV sp is calculated using 497mm shares plus 54mm options, so fully diluted 551m shares...(there are another 10mm, at that date but out of the money)
Dollar pound ex rate 14th Dec 2020 0.7502
Now here is an interesting set of numbers, the table on page 22 for Itumbula gives..
Asset Value $235mm
Unrisked sp 32p
Risked Asset $18mm
Risked sp 2p
Geo CoS 10% (0.1)
Commercial CoS 75%.. (0.75)
So working out the SP and what it is, discovery or production( is my assumption good?)
235mm/551mm== $0.4265,
0.04265 x 0.75= £0.3198 :)
....32p
No risk has been applied so looks like this is the price for production..( agree/disagree ? )
Including Commercial CoS 0.75, we get £0.24....
Unless I am wrong, I guess we could use 24p as a guide price for a commercial discovery (back in 2020)..
To get the risked price we need to include the Geo CoS 10% , and Commercial CoS 75%
Using pence
32x 0.1 x0.75= 2.4p (rounded in table, as it states 3+2+3=9)
Double checking using Unrisked Asset $235mm to Risked Asset $18mm
$235 x 0.1 x 0.75= $17.625mm
to GBP
0.75x17.625= £13.21875mm
13.21875/551=£0.024, 2.4p
That exchange rate being same as Com CoS, had me good and proper...
