@Skittish, who knows, but I cant imagine them opting for sub optimal positioning, being spot on they would have had their data and a discovery if it was there.. and be a year ahead of where we are today..

They probably drilled in the right place for what they knew at the time..Maybe the seismic survey lines did not cover that area as would be required to provide optimal position for that prospect, seeing they have a new line in the area..

Most likely we are missing something, usually we are..could be that lower blue circle in the slides should have been drawn touching both fault lines ?

We need a Q&A, but I bet your observation would be skimmed over...

Anyway at the moment I am considering that surface gas show as a teaser, with two possibilities until we get a full explanation.. ;)

@Skittish,, Your findings are unexpected, but very plausible. Leaves questions especially since drilling updates indicated they drilled the lower target, or gave me that impression, and the latest interview talks of an anomaly SW of Tai, which I assumed another target..
But now the question is, is that anomaly SW of the drill pad or SW of the targets we believed they were drilling?

Just thinking Skittish has been working hard on this thread, and we have hijacked it with unrelated posts...

but now need to think about what that really means..

So its not really the cows but the way we farm them,
When I first started repairing cars you could repair a suspension arm by simply replacing a bush(rubber bearing/flexible joint) if that was the problem, for pennies. These days you replace the whole suspension arm.. so instead of replacing a single component, you replace an assembly of parts.. more profit for the manufacturers of each component, more energy used for production and recycling of parts..

Maybe Putin is counting on Bidens claims to keep oil prices high long enough to cover the costs of his militarily exercises..

@Skittish, Crimea's main source of water was from Ukraine, so is it all about NATO ? Why would Ukraine cut supply to its own people, if they were that is... we only hear what we are supposed too.. Just food for thought, and the US meddles..

@Skittish, its just hard to accept a world class outfit missed... what was the rectangle?
If they did not drill at an angle, then they would have totally missed the deepest target going by the overlays, and the seismic map of Tai..

No, but if it falls back and the news to come is good it could be an opportunity, somebody posted BEN here when is was 12p now 45p, MATD at 3.3p now 4.3p.. So its worth a look at least..

Not sure though whether the background levels would be atmospheric or initial levels in the drilling mud..
If its background mud levels then the shallow discovery may have prevented them from completing calibration in time..
