Next time I am going to check the announcements, 99% were at 7am, spuds anytime but results 7 am.
So could have bought with the odds of a duster not being announced today, and set myself a loss..and waited
ORR, good grades RNS, did'nt move until the afternoon, drifted back down then, over days

@BlueGlow, not looked into the trades, since I missed it.. Watched this morning for about 45minutes, thought nope not happening..
Did consider buying, but it would have been a 1 st attempt at such a trade, the ftse was down lots too, so good instinct, too much logic, missed out...
Often the messenger is just 1st time poster, all the boards, fantastic PR then gone..:) PUMP, sharp to see the opportunity..

No1 I was up at the crack of dawn for that, more often than not when someone pops up like that its enough for 10-20%, , but initially there seemed no interest so took my eye off it..
Now I am debating on a sell, but stock seems to be waiting for news, MMmm

Will be interesting to see if the spread tightens to entice sellers, with the possibility of the permits being awarded soon

@Latte, Its Biden, needs to keep oil prices up to support fracking. that pipe-line he canceled was just a distraction...

@Troajan, well that bond stuff was a load of orchids, but even the morning announcement had the ftse opening up.

BOE buying bonds, that supports the markets, encourages traders back into the stock market....it showing the BOE are willing to slow tightening monetary policies.. Makes the Yank markets rally.
I think the Tories just caused a panic as they probably, may or may not, but could own, all of or, 1 or more of, or neither of LLoyds stocks, holiday homes in Tenby, and/or the Gower or Wales, but unlikely Port Talbot, where the grass is grey. So forced the BOE to ease off and support equities..

Might get that rig now, for the summer at least ;)

@Troajan, could be as the BOE buying bonds today is a delay to tightening monetary policies, so hopefully more buying stocks, over my head really....

My suggestion of the pipes integrity was one that blames neither until the facts are known..and anything can fail

housing, the Gov must have known with all the borrowing over COVID, QE stretching back from the financial crisis, that tightening of policies were only to come.
So why did they give the recent stamp duty holidays, twice now.. That pushes house prices up because the estate agents get what they can, also the wealthier take advantage of the break, and prices go up.. that forces some to over stretch not knowing whats ahead...
