@Gogs, on the Mitchell rig , there was an article explaining Midak had designed an innovative approach to the drilling so I think Mitchell took the challenge, and why not. Originally there was a 700m target or there abouts, roughly 60% of the drills rated depth..

@Gogs, To tell you the truth I am skeptical about anything commented on in an RNS from He1..
Initially it was said stripping the engine lead to the injectors, thats weak... it made my mates smile..
Especially when you consider Epiroc were on site, performed an upgrade, and road tested the vehicle..
Surely to have engine damage through poor injectors there would be many symptoms.. engine knock, smoking, power loss
They also did'nt say they had rebuilt the engine, so maybe the pistons are damaged,

I thought it was code to say the rig was about ready, but they omitted the year, so it clearly means they dont no when its ready ;)

@Gogs, I think this injector issue is related the upgrade Epiroc performed, especially since, but although not linked at the time was the mention of a road test.. So I think they believed they had a fly by-wire accelerator/ Engine management issue.
Now DM has moved the focus onto Baker Hughes availability maybe the rig has gone to a dealership instead of the yard especially if its poorly equipped, would explain no real progress being highlighted between the 2 updates..
No mention of a LOI or MOU with the rig owner makes me consider the possibilty He1 are the new owners, if you were the seller would you want all this hassle, it was for sale not hire..
