I dont know the answer, but the next big news I guess will be the JV, so which ever it will be above 0.2p some time..

There will be plenty next year, hopefully at least 4x 50% gainers, that gives a 5 bagger, no need to risk that duster..
We just had EOG, ECO, and have Delt and PRD, all in roughly the last Quarter, missed plenty of others..

There will also be joint venture announcements, that should offer some more opportunities,

Thinking you have your eye on fund raises, might be worth looking at those that did well after the fall, to help decide which ones to get in on..
Your HZM has slowly made a good gain
PRD, done well 6-9p initally, as raise funded drilling, then there was a large enough delay, to pick the up low 7p, even sub 7p very briefly..
Could add a little knowledge, to increase the odds picking a gainer over a loser.....
Helps reduce the risk..

I got caught on IAG when the USA was opening up with the analyst saying costs would be passed onto customers, and US long haul flights would bring in the profits.. Once the US opened up fuel cost news was used to drive the price back down,...

That windfall tax has become a 5 year tax, so I think that could cause some issues, I guess the are companies out there that just refine, if they have to pay 75%, some will close as I dont see them taking much advantage of the investing allowance as they are at the moment, on limited time anyway..

But the likes of the major will invest until near 2028. then after their tax will drop 35%, and profits soar

Not sure if, and when ukraine ends it will change energy supply and demand, as all the restrictions will still be in place for many years, unless Putin is out, and western aligned replacement appears on the scene..
A lot of this is down to Gov policies, stopping new exploration, blocking new developments, as seen with Ireland, Italy and another was mentioned recently.. Also setting end dates for household gas heating, and combustion engines, signalling to the likes of BP to start winding down refineries, and other investment..Also funds selecting renewable companies, and black listing fossils..
Russia as just exacerbated the issue, with bans on russian fossils while the transition takes place, to the advantage of the USA, now the biggest shale oil exporter, while Europe bans fracking ???????

But the Ukraine ending will be a good reason for the II analysts to push the sell off story , before buying backing in with we still need gas to transition.. like they do...

KevR has thrown me something to think about, If UKraine war ends tomorrow, will gas prices drop, we still wont have that missing supply from Russia, oils, gas , diesel, and more i guess..

@Troajan, Those you mention, and then I mention, thats just me researching them, then hopefully posting some useful info for the others as they are working, or just as reminders..

I am still struggling to distinguish the bounce from the downtrend, even trying out different volume indicators, so also looking at the company updates, for something that may change the trend, but at the moment thats a challenge too, especially miners..needing to google stuff.

At the moment I have a habit of holding for a little bit more, then it falls so I wait, for it to get close the previous price if at all,, then look back to realise I could have bought and sold numerous times.. All learning.. sometimes it pays off,

But the amount of bounces your calling, thats an eye opener..
