Until now, two wells have been drilled in this block and discovered 466 billion cubic feet of natural gas. Ongoing studies show that this block has a total of 1,642 billion cubic feet of gas. The signing of this additional agreement is a big step in the preparation to develop the discovered gas and thus increase the production of natural gas in the country.

In this Project we estimate to invest about 500 million US dollars in developing the discovered gas. In the development and production of the Ruvuma Block, TPDC is expected to participate by 15%. The implementation of this project is expected to generate jobs for Tanzanians as well as promote the economy of our country due to various taxes and fees that will be obtained from the sale of gas. Other benefits that will be obtained include the use of gas in generating electricity, which currently natural gas contributes more than sixty percent (60%) to the national grid, so the implementation of this project will increase the amount of electricity produced from natural gas, run factories, use in homes as well as in cars.

The Production and Revenue Sharing Agreement (PSA) for the Ruvuma Block (with two licenses, Lindi and Mtwara), was signed on October 29, 2005 between the Government, TPDC and Ndovu Resources (Contractor). In October 2020, Ndovu Resource sold 50% of its shares to ARA Petroleum Ltd with ARA becoming the main investor in the block. This contract had clauses governing income if oil is discovered in the block in question, since the investor has discovered natural gas, an additional contract has been prepared to add clauses governing the income of natural gas.

Today, on 25/11/2022, we are holding a signing ceremony in the extension contract of the original contract for production and revenue sharing of the Ruvuma block after the completion of the discussion between the Government's negotiation team and the investors.

Is that a long wait to signing the JV and Iron ore project ?
My latest theory with I probably came up with 10 times before..
If there is news a fair way off there is likely to be blip along the way, just anticipation

Before annuals the close period appears to be 60 days, but the report is not due until end of March, last published mid February..

QFI, missed 2.1p, guys on BB, not impressed with what was said at AGM....
I registered for QFI meeting with looking at the date, whilst attempting to access He1, where my registration appeared accepted, but could not access the meeting, so in the confusion missed both..

I am thinking volume is good, 10p taking the price back two weeks, suggests that small 8p placing, has done its damage, and as long as that rig mobilsation is not announced should hold or rise again??

Messed up on IOG, did'nt think about news flow, just focused on the first gas after well stimulation, end of year
But they were changing a subsea valve too
New BOD started issuing regular RNS to rebuild confidence. so today they announced the valve change has been done..lol
50% gain of the valve change...
Its doubled while I have watched :)
Next news is the risky bit, its gone from 20p to 7.5p, on first well being abandoned.
Back up 17p, changing a faulty valve while waiting on the second wells first gas. stimulation..
all learning.
