Just made a list, wondering about buying more of those slightly lower in price, then selling when slightly above 1st purchase price.. Could have sold 88e, and bought back cheaper just... So wondering about buying, then selling for those where holding the extra wont be a bad option.. like 88e..

Yep, its difficult to get it right, PRD was holding for that 100% gain, then the RNS I suspected came in..
If I was in a little lower, or if that RNS came a few days later I would have probably got it.
If that 100% was not almost there, I probably would sold at 11p, rather than in the 9s, holding for the bounce back..
But from the 1st purchase, of 3 I pulled that 50% target but it took months...
While Tro missed the highs, but took his good profit quicker..
Once you have money in, you thought process changes...

He1, is likely but not certain, but its changed, its just one prospect being drilled, maybe two drills in the same prospect.. So imo, that HP doc thats getting quoted no longer fits this phase. But to balance that some what, people are under the impression there was an untested discovery.. The option of a second drill means it not binary so will attract more, a single drill, and a duster will be bad news for the share price after all the talk of a discovery, and the other on goings.. So I dont really know if it will rise anyway near last time, but I will be happy with my money back, and to get the next 50%..
But it could rise out of the blue too.. people will think there is a leak, I am selling some then..

He1, and 88e and AEX will need some luck to run consecutively , remember longboat have their rig booked for Q3, need to check the funding etc.. AEX maybe expensive by then..but 30% will be nice too.. There might another, United O &G, not sure..

I have been wondering about christmas, and people taking some profit for the festivities, even cutting losses..
New Year an excuse to justify off-loading the under performers, and making a new start..

Now I have a handful of small positions, and seem to be buying often, watching them change colour at different times, is changing my thoughts, ...on holding for so long

Thats a strength of mine holding, it can be a real problem.
Its got me better than expected gains, helped me miss the low, and made me a long term holder for the wrong reasons..
Yet, yesterday it looks like I lacked that patience..
Christmas, thats when the news is due, or a bounce... wish me luck ;)
I believe the loaner Valkor changed payback to completion of deal..
Trusting the Update, I would'nt do that with He1 lol

The Company announces that the terms of the Valkor Loan have now been further varied to extend the repayment date for the remaining US$1,000,000 principal amount of the loan to the completion date of a suitable funding transaction for Greenfield that provides sufficient funds to TomCo to, inter alia, enable it to affect repayment.

Farmout update when they were led to believe it was almost there
Completion of the farm-out is still subject to two conditions precedent: the financing contingency requiring Beluga's shareholders' approval, and the MINMIDT approval. The Company will notify the market when both conditions precedent have been met.

Then Nov 22nd
The Cameroon Petroleum Code provides that approval of a transaction of this type should be provided by the Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development ("MINMIDT") within 60 days of 21st September 2021, when it was formally requested, which means by Saturday 20th November 2021. To date, Tower has received no objection to the transaction, nor any further request for information from MINMIDT, and whilst Tower believes that the conditions for the approval have been met, Tower is yet to receive a formal letter (a "decret") confirming MINMIDT's approval of the transaction.

Then eventually the funders did.nt come through..

They have been working with banks to get some of the funding, so I suspect a big raise might be needed for the rest..
It will be a big bounce when drilling is announced.. Must watch for that funding, or a raise, if they do a big raise, lets hope there is a dip before a big recovery and bounce....

There was partnership, 3 or so companies I believe, only know about them because QFI tested the oil from the Utah sands..
Its a big sandy ridge, the plant cleans the sand of oil, sells the clean sand and sells the oil..more of a mining operation.
I get the impression Tomco built, developed and tweaked the first plant, maybe a proof of concept, not sure.. They needed to extract the oil and clean it of abrasive particles, and now it sounds like Greenfields may take up their option to take full ownership..Valkor were involved too....
I just hope I read the RNS right, and that Greenfield take up that final 90%
Their price has been up and down, as can be seen it the chart
Even cheaper today, but only cheap if they go back up..

QFI, all that waiting for sub 2p, might be happening after I bought, lol..

TOM raise, is to provide funds until the remaining 90% Interest in the tar sands site is taken from them for an additional cash consideration of US$16.25 million up to 31 December 2022. So a sale I guess..
Could be some other deal worked, but MC is just £7m at the moment..

You know if they drilled through that fault its probably why the drill broke, maybe where the bubbles came from, but they did not say at what depth they drilled through..?
Last update they mentioned young faults, so near the surface, probably why they see all that atmospheric helium, could be seepage or a leak...

@Q, in the presentation there are two stars/prospects shown within the Tai closure area, different locations to Tai-1.
I wonder if this time they will prepare the second pad before drilling the 1st is complete..

One of my other stocks (AEX) did something similar a while back, farming out it's Tanzania gas field to ARA Petroleum, as AEX did not have the huge cash needed to develop the field. It dropped from 75% ownership to 25%, but in return it got $35m in carried development costs, enough to get it to big commercial revenues from that field, and now it has cut all unnecessary costs and is sitting back waiting for the revenues to come through (which have since been brought forward by a year by the Tanzania Government, as it is fast tracking the pipeline to the gas plant). Once the revenues are flowing in, the low operating costs will leave them with big profits and a much higher share price than when they owned 75% but had no money to develop the field.

He1 did start dropping this morning, was even thinking it was heading back to low 7s.
PRD, to close to rig mobilsation, and the price dropped from then, looking at he last drill, but did rally 14 to 18p, but I think that was the funder working his profit... Don't know..
Qfi, got a small position, much like 88e, so I dont miss out, but I do wonder if he1 is a better option.. but I can sell if there is a funding drop...funding means drilling is on...but the question in the back of mind is last years price, that included the valuations of 3/4 wells being drilled, so 1 drill ? .......I dont know, but not something I am going to bring up being so much down...

@Blubay, he told us the audit was 80% complete, starting back in about two weeks. Thats great progress, enough to top up on, or take your position.. But 6 weeks later bad news.... he could have simply said the audit is progressing, even said the audit is paused while we investigate an issue... probably cost a few people...
On the other hand protects the share price, as long as we drill, some are probably in a better position than last year..maybe
