@Willy66, Is that your accounts valuation saying 6p average ?
My true average cost is 9p.. but my account shows an average of 8p,

I have my main holding, the cost of which averages 9p...

But I bought a block on a low, and sold them quickly at a profit, that purchase lowered my ave to 8p
But since that sell was done below my average, computer says I sold at a loss..and that loss associated with that block of sold shares is no longer accounted for in the valuation for my He1 shares..
So although I am back to my main holding, which cost me 9p per share, my account shows 8p..

I have some builders working next door, no courtesy, do as they please..foul language, mess everywhere
Council gave them permission to put a skip in the lane, that provides access to residents garages, its one-way too.

Another friend of mine, lives on a no through road, council put up no parking signs..
He contacted the council to be told nothing could be done until the restriction came into force, beyond belief..
For decades people parked there,,, Absolutely no change other than the new street signs banning parking..

One road into Cardiff, during rush hour, traffic is on stop, they applied a 20 mph limit, not sure how that speeds things up..??
When the road is clear, you have to crawl ????

My council full of rot...
Lane back of my house they made one way, part of a trial, only problem was it was heavily over grown, except the side I maintained.
You could drive through, but you had to drive through the brambles.
They painted the arrows, put up the signs each end, but did'nt clear the access all the way through, did'nt respond to requests to clear it either...

Summer time , in the park I use daily, kids smashed safety glass that shatters into a 1000 pieces, glass shelving that had been in the lane for months ???
1st council guy turns up, realises he does not have the appropriate tooling to clean up, looses his rag, but eventually covers that glass with planks dumped in the lane...lol
2nd guy, never met him, removed the planks left the glass..
3rd guy, never met him either, but made an attempt..
4th guy made another attempt..
5th, never came..

Surely they have battery or petrol powered vacuums..

That trial including my lane, was a success, it restricted vehicle access around the school, at opening and closing time, although they failed enforce those restrictions, totally ignored.. real joke..

All funded by the Welsh Gov.. waste of money, as poorly executed,

We have a park, on the weekend, the toilets are closed. So closed when the working tax payers are able to spend some time there.. Sort of working model the town branch banks are adopting....

@Blissful, the other problem is the language, English, a popular second language..
I know before Brexit, not sure how things are now, but even those that come here to work knew if they lost their job soon after arriving there were benefits they could claim to tide them over. Not a bad thing but open to abuse..
Also I believe they were able to claim back their taxes if they returned home with a certain time limit..
Also, if you had a family, then those family entitlement were paid even if the wife and kids remained in their home country..
So that's money leaving the economy..

So open to abuse from our own and overseas....

lol, I watched a movie, comedy, 1990, New US President who was going to tackle plastic pollution and pesticides/herbicides,, so its all old news.....

The money is , splashed about, wasted and falsely acquired.
I have a friend in education, until recently those who were entitled received a meal voucher, for what ever they chose, not necessarily a meal, no change, voucher put through the till at full value..
So those who can afford to eat elsewhere do, spend their voucher on confectionery, and the difference is pocketed not returned to the pot...

Now the money is paid direct to their bank,

My time, you got your voucher, it was a choice of a meal, not chocolate bars and soda...

So the Gov are splashing the cash, on schemes open to abuse all the way down the line.
And making it easy to abuse by not tracking or accounting for..

@Deano, the young people are too busy getting on with life to notice, its only when you get time to sit back at a distance you see the change....
Gov making out they are addressing things like pollution, sometimes by taxing, and at times banning certain items..

Those taxes dont stop the pollution just add to inflation, while at the same benefiting the Gov coffers...

Think about the ban on single use plastic straws, sounds great, but it really is insignificant, almost pointless..
Today we now have single use disposable electronic/electrical products like vaps, which people sling like cigarette buts, I see them on the streets, and out in the fields often, disposable..

Cleaning up the sea's, we all routinely wash man made fibres in our washing machines, the lint flushed out to sea..
Nylon, polyester all forms of plastic... Those ever so green thinning fleeces, made of recycled plastic, those fibres washed into the sea.. All guilty, without realizing it...

But the line is, if you buy a fleece your helping the environment ?????
