@KevR, if you have bought a share, say 100k shares, which has dropped in value, and then traded the lows, while keeping the original 100k, your valuation is likely say your break even share price is lower than what you require to get your money back..

@KevR, do you keep a track of your costs, you could be losing a few hundred pounds a time moving between shares, if your selling at what looks a slight loss to catch another..
1, 000, 000 88e shares..
buying at say 0.7077, and then selling at 0.6912, looks like nothing much
but is a £165 loss without your fees
2.5M shares, thats £412 lost,
Soon adds up

I write down on a sheet of paper, the cost of the share purchase I want to sell, which I keep in front of me during the day, and check it before accepting a quote.

Also you need to keep track on a spreadsheet, there is about £5000 missing from my accounts valuation, with the way it uses your average costs when trading a share....its there in the statements, but not in the valuation screen..

Really we should use it to gauge how the markets are changing..

@Da_MoLe, 88e are dual listed in the UK and Aus..

They just spudded their well on friday, drilling for oil..
Worth following for the experience, see what the price does at the different stages,
see how the BB ramps and trolls,
how the MM uses the spread and how the buy vs sells volumes misleads

Play with monopoly money and see how you do, thats free experience

Noble are also planning to discover helium at Lake Rukwa, all going well He1 and Noble will be using the same rig and operators to make their discoveries(hopefully)

On reflection, all easier said than done, so worth a little recap, to prepare for next time..

We were both in 88e at 0.5p,
from original entry 0.75p gave 50%, 0.8% 60%..
So it happened, we just did'nt ;)

Just got to learn patience, then execution at the right time, not so much our idea of the right price..
Got hyped into that penny, making the 0.7p additions too tempting..

0.7 was 40% above our entry point.. !

In before the placing too, so could have sold near. 0.7 bought back below 0.6...

Plan was great, execution poor.. should have doubled our money
Before placing, 0.5-0.7, 40%
After placing, 0.6-0.8, 33%
then 0.65-0.75, 15%
Thats more than double, after doing the maths

Trouble with the £100 gains I have been seeing frequently possible is the risk to small reward..

Then for AIM, the spread can be very tight during high volumes and widen as things slow down.
A tight spread can open up, where the bid lowers and most of your profit is gone, as happened to me with QFI the following day after the 25% rise..

Also seen that on ALL, where 10,000 shares, 1p gain was worth £100 profit, but once the share stabilized a 3-5% spread appeared which ate up that penny..

88e on friday, the spread was a little as £50, often +£100, then at times approaching £250.
IAG small tax 0.2%, insignificant spread but seems people are playing for 2-3% then selling, so about a 2% rise and in come the sellers..

So playing with £2000-£7000 for a few hundred pounds, need shares with no immediate, and no unrecoverable downside in sight..I suppose like IAG where it is highly likely to recover if it dropped..

Then it appears all fundamentals are out the window on a big drop, but those it appears we are locked out of, until the best prices have gone..

Ship got conveniently sent to the bottom..

@Tro, Seems to be the tests are also engine type, and manufacturer specific, as they sign off things like engine wear..

TOM, that funding/deal has been delayed time and time again..
Initially I read that update, as the stop date has been set...make or break..
"by delivering a notice of exercise >on or before 31 March 2023< and making payment of the US$16.25 million cash consideration by no later than 5 April 2023.

but previously

"by delivering a notice of exercise on or before 28 February 2023 and making payment of the US$16.25 million cash consideration by no later than 3 March 2023."

Now 0.9p Warrants, suggest significant upside
The Company announces that it has agreed with the Warrant holders that on expiry they will be issued with an equivalent number of new warrants exercisable on the same terms save for the expiry date being >31 March 2023< (the "Replacement Warrants").

I sold mine when I made a small profit, after buying the placing only for the price to keep dropping, which meant I was sat on a loss for weeks...

But March 31st is now a little too close for comfort, unless you believe the contract will go through..

Zphr, charts shows its cycles trough a good price range, but not attempted to value it, or relate the latest RNS's to the drop..
But 6.2p would be 20%, and is well below the peaks.. Question is why the drop?

Morocco, is to do with, possibly a mining company, fertilizer, drying process, kiln I guess.. two fuels..

The stand alone engine test was testing the second fuel type, engine wear and performance..

Really dont understand why waiting on the second fuel, when I get the impression the 1st, which has already gone through a sea trial years back is the priority product for both Morocco and MSC...

Now I believe cash to run the company will be very short mid year, if Morocco fails before then I guess it may have an impact on raising funds , and maybe MSC if before the trial starts !?
So are they delaying Morocco, surely not as customs was the issue ???
