Following the disposal, Amur Minerals is now a cash shell under AIM rules.

It is therefore required to....
Make an acquisition which constitutes a reverse takeover on or before the date falling six months from the completion of the disposal,
Or be re-admitted to trading on AIM as an investing company.
Or Failing that, Amur Mineral's shares will be suspended from trading

I think some will make a small gain, probably those associate with the very large trades, at the lows, but nowhere near the dividend,

thats 70 existing ordinary shares of 21/13 pence each will be replaced by 33 new ordinary shares of 490/143

So
70*(21/13) =113p
33*(490/143)=113p

sp+div
113p+115p=228p

I guess on consolidation the sp will go to 113p, and 115p into your account

So if you bought at 220p, your 105p (220 -115) becomes 113p at least on consolidation..

Capricorn look like they are going backwards, not sure their 2023 revenues will cover what the plan for the year.
So are you thinking the share price is a roughly where is will sit until payout, then trade closer to 100p,..?

Need to look at the production figures again as thy quote Working interest production, while they get less...

" Working interest Egypt oil and gas production ~34,200 boepd, comprising 42% liquids and within revised guidance of 33,000-36,000 boepd; net entitlement sales volumes 4.7 mmboe
Which is closer to 13,000 boepd ....

Thats comparable to JSE,

@KevR, I just been around clearing my name, mentioning that Divi..
Although I was expecting some constructive criticism if no good, but got some sarcasm especially on 88e..
Amusing, as I would be laughing if at somebody else, Void has thickened my skin..

I think when the likes of BP have a dividend you see a rise in the trend, then the price drops.
But it may rise say 10% over months, maybe good performance expected then drop a few percent on div dates

CNE is falling, and the divi is very large..
Which might explain the share consolidation of which there are no details ..
So with 50% dividend on a £2 share, price could drop to £1..
If they consolidate 2 for 1 new, that keeps the sp at £2

All guessing at the way it works at moment, but why consolidate 315M shares, its not many

@PortfolioPower, MMMmmm, there is a catch the sp has'nt risen, say for instance 10% before 5% payout..
Its fallen, whether that will soften the fall on payout or not is the question, if it falls only 30%, I make 15-20%
A lesson everyday, always in hindsight, but I often only realise when the noise has gone, and you get a hint ,Ta

Makes you wonder about the strategy of divi hunting, must be in early..

I wonder if that consolidation of only 315M is about keeping the sp price nearer £2
So 2 becomes 1, Doubling share price, but the 50% drop, takes it back to £2

From sentiment could drop quickly, but from todays price, the 50% div will be a big drop ..
I was just about to look up which day I could sell and still collect..
But was hoping the 50% might temp a better price, so could take a profit and offer the divi to somebody else looking to hold..

CNE, dropping on new plans, revolts, failures, moving more into Egypt
On the other hand $450m, cash return £1.15 per share(to be approved), currently £2.20, if the bottom..
Ex/Record date Mid May, also consolidation ??
