@KevR, Not sure about pleasing all, but yep, I think the mention of net debt, and that 20% which I think is an error or obscuring something will cause a few to sell..
that 20% needs to be closer 35-45%...big error..

but again the big trades are going through..some printed twice, so maybe paired, but listed hours apart

I used to buy, and sell every so often, did'nt pay much attention to anything other than the price, believed what the companies say......

But started watching the trades, then you start asking questions...
Still the dumb money, but things look stacked against you if you believe you can invest in fundamentals, or TA..
The money makers know what you are following, see all your pending orders, the CEOs need to look after the HNW before the PI..

JSE, got a small position there, problem is those large trades on the mid, what are they...cant read them..
Today they are either being printed twice by error , or are paired orders exactly the same time being printed separately, hours apart to obscure volumes...

Back to 2021 prices, lower than when their main production source, Montara was off-line, yet entry price is still too high ?

update today, initially sounds good but not sure what they are saying....

Sounds fantastic..,
especially since 2021 Montara produced about 10,000 boed

But with Montara Just being brought back into service , and with only 3 wells connected so far of 7 or 8, its producing 4,700 boed......

That is 20% of the 2024 forecast
Mid 2024 forecast is 18500-22,000, ???

but I was under the impression Montara would increase production to 14 or15,000 boed which is mid-point of 2023 forecast, and closer to 10k boed

" Production for the first three months of 2023 averaged just over 10,000 boe/d, reflecting tank repair and scheduled maintenance activities at Montara. Production for the nine months ending 31 December 2023 is expected to average 13,500-17,000 boe/d;"

No wonder the price has dropped.......

A big PI buy from MM , order needs filling, so MM must attempt to fill at a price below to make their commission, so price needs to be held or fall...
That is whats happen ???
Mmmm suggest the dip in an uptrend..

A big PI sell to MM, the MM can attempt to hold on a down trend, as they need to off-load for more than they paid to profit, otherwise they lose.. So could also let it rise to sell it back to the PI higher
But thats not happened ?
Mmmm, does that suggests the blip ups in the down trend..

Maybe they were able to clear that trade before printing it...

suggested fluid was pushing into the rock, so rock full of drilling fluid means oil displaced, so cuttings oil would be displaced too ????

2.big sell, maybe about 11 am, at top prices, then NT to sell likely as they have a full book...
or
3.Paired trade, just like 7 days before, nicely sliced to keep 555k average 1.5p
or
4 flipped, maybe 7.35/7.475

Now that buy 7 days ago at 6.5p, if it was, from middle of next day until following day the price appears held to 6.5p,

£2000, actually got more on the 2nd trade,
When I thought the price would have been lower on the second..
Thats my experience so far.. ?????

If you could see the prices, see that £2k difference, thats a lot of profit

Maybe its not linked to the other trade and is a quick flip, £2k in 9 seconds...??
