I have struggled to find any clear info that sticks in the mind regarding raises..
I assume they can still issue up to 20% if that is the annual limit, and as long as they offer to current holders I guess the excess can be offered to new.. Then to satisfy our rights, we get our offering to top up funds ..
In my experience raises just happen, sometimes you get to vote later, if you want the company to progress you have to vote yes...
They can raise before or at TD, if logging while drilling after announcing shows with data supporting reservoir type formations, pause before testing, and create a wait for results... So maybe carry out the 2 weeks testing, sending results for analysis leaving it all to speculation for weeks. They could mention a new resource upgrade in the same fashion as the off-takers, depending on results of course. but look at PRD, announced a drilling and testing phase, raised after TD, still not tested..just changed the plan....
At the moment they maintain they are funded, but what if they need funds for testing or analysis of results ;)
We could get a string of announcements, then we have a proven new price, follow it with a delay causing a fall in price, so a small raise would still be at a discount even if at market price.. We love a raise at full price, along with the company spinning the new institutional interest, adding to the confidence of a discovery...
If we thought they wanted another £10m in one raise, and we knew how many shares they have to issue we would have an idea..
Thats a good question for wednesday.. its not asking how much money or if they are going to raise, and the answer should be a figure not waffle
