In an uncontrolled build up in pressure it is capable of cutting through the drilling pipe and sealing off the well.. So since they are installing one its needs to be tested before drilling for gas starts... 88e tested theirs after setting the surface casing(about 1000m), which I think maybe to about 70m in our case,....

Not even sure they had a BOP phase1, so maybe its over kill..

Maybe but that rig can drill fast, read an article where they were drilling 400m in less than 20hrs, as little as 13.. 1 day moving, 1 day drilling, so 2 days to case 400m each site..

Also they have allowed 2 weeks for testing...

Just wonder if they will tweet BOP test, as that should be the start to TD

So could say no shows down to/before Karoo as an early update, while at same time be monitoring shows in the Karoo after passing through the seal.. If the seal in mud stone, then they will see the drill chippings change from sandstone..
