UPL, initially when I looked the only source of the buy out rumor I could find came from UPL reacting to a rumor,, I need to have another look..

But regardless its created an opportunity, genuine or not.. its formed two bottoms, there maybe a 3rd early next week, but as time goes on it will be a lost opportunity...

But if its for real, a second offer may come intra-day, a chance to beat a massive gap-up.. or if it gets dismissed it may offer opportunity again, just smaller... they are working with a state owned O&G, that issues the licences, and JV is a local.. Big plans for that resource.. its a little confusing..

It turns out half of what these companies tell us is fantasy or unlikely as they fail...

They stated they intend to vent the nitrogen, not said anything otherwise..

Could be just the initial phase..

But that might change, as Noble may have plans to rely on an off-takers processing facility in country, and they are likely to have a commercial outlet for it.. was'nt there an issue with the lack of nitrogen for food packaging recently ?

You have oilers burning methane, rather than putting it into the grid, or even using it on-site. Crazy when you consider our heating bills and its becoming harder to find, and definitely not green.. And its the authorities that grant them permits to do so, with limits that reduce oil productivity..

@Dobby, last time they reported a helium show, its percentage(of the sampled gas from the mud), and the period it persisted in meters..

I think the show is initially compared to background levels, so needs some calibration to start..

The cant give a discovery until they have identified, a seal and trap adjacent to the show, thats the wire-lines job

Then the next stage is to sample and measure pressures, I guess to give that important percentage and an Idea of possible flow rates..

Sending off sample to an dependent lab will be verification, and I guess all the data will be sent off to the CPR guys to update the resource..

The side track was Tai-1, a breakage roughly when the bubbles appeared, both occurred where it was later revealed the drill through the fault.. The side-track was announced after it was successful, but before it was cased..

I dont know about tanzania, but you can request a permit to side-track along with the permit to drill the well, I believe a mechanical side-track in the case of by-passing a problem.. I think, not sure, as cant remember , you still have to inform the authorities prompt, to get the final nod...

Some companies flare gas as a by product, which can be limited, so reducing the amount of oil the can produce.. Sure I have read some companies use the these unwanted gases to stimulate flow by pumping them back into the formation..

But dont trust me on that....

I guess in the early stages He1 will just vent the nitrogen, and maybe find a commercial avenue for it later

I dont Know, I think they have been randomly posting photos, we have two duplicates for sure, and that photo 24th appears out of time, the pipes look a lot larger than some shown earlier..

Its 3 weeks since they showed what looks to be the smallest pipe on the rack to date, on their schedule thats enough time to be approaching TD on a second hole... ?

Trouble is they dont have to report any issues, if they can keep the lid on it, and can be resolved..

Not being there we just dont know, you maybe spot on if that photo is the most recent,

Unfortunately last year they played us, and this year on a Friday they were in dialogue with SOFORI, crashing the share price, Yet the following Monday "morning" a convoy appeared with our rig after completing a 1500km journey...

Depends when the photo was taken, they seem to be random, the photo tweeted 4 days ago, pipes are a lot bigger than in some earlier shots,, but maybe they moved the rig and started new hole. Not because of down hole issues but because they parked the rig over a Tanzanian burrowing burrowers burrow ;)

Also shots from different angles, and when taking pictures over raised obstacles you lose the sense of distance behind, dead ground effect

Maybe they are just clueless at PR, as long as they bag DMs discovery all will be forgiven..

The answer is to only invest a Tenner and see if they care about the share price then ;)
