Both messed up too, IS was CEO before DM, $5m & Mineral rig, DM probably inherited that from IS...

So DM was more unlucky, as everything has unfolded as he intended, except it took so long that what said became Jam..

1st that sticks in the mind, Tai-2, IS said they were "data collecting", although DM and RNS gave the impression that they were chasing discoveries..

2nd, when IS left, he said he remained a significant share holder as he believes in the project, so based on the 1st there is a fair chance he sincere , but ye ?

It looks like DM was recruited as CEO to deliver on an already decided $5m 3 well project, and probably inherited that mineral rig part and parcel , as we all know now $5m will not cover 1 hole O&G

He switched from the original plan to drill Tai, which turned out a big ask for that mineral rig

Then the Predator was fixed up, unluckily it had a court order keeping it in Kenya

Exhalo, Invictus changed plans, keeping the rig , leaving DM high and dry..

Now with his rig, at his prospect , is Lorna going to claim his discovery ?

And if not, oh that DM ;)

I watched a video, I think 88e, that explained it was common to start from TD, maybe he was talking about flow testing and perforating casing..

Logging while drilling obviously from the top down..

He1, RNS'd they would test(wire-line) the upper shows after TD, I had to back check..

If I was CEO, and had a good show, after phase 1 difficulties, I would wire-line it there and then..

A show + adj trap = discovery.. even without flow testing..

I think he is knowledgeable, but if your holding 600,000 shares you dont start the day saying the delay is massive, and suggest it could be a drill stopper,, a penny drop is £6k,,

And those casings he was suggesting were for the bottom section looked a little to large..

TD is the basement, and the primary target the Karoo , so we have the upper and lower lakebeds,(2 targets in CPR), Red Sandtone(tais surprise), Karoo (primary )and Basement..

They may have had a impressive show and tested it before continuing to TD especially after the rig failure or if going has been difficult, last time the drill pipe broke, and had bore stability issues..

Before trading started this morning started posting drilling is Massively delayed, signs of operational issues, even to the point of failure.. I popped the question about interrupting drilling to test an unexpected show, but he was not warming to that, saying it was wire-lined at Tai-1 all bar the Karoo, ..did'nt even entertain the idea.. So keeping with operational issues..

Was it UOG who interrupted drilling to test some unexpected hydrocarbon indicators , share price rocketed... added quite a number of days to the drill..
