EIA expects rising electricity demand and natural gas prices to affect electricity fuel mix for the rest of 2024

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects that the United States will generate more electricity from renewables and coal in the second half of this year, as electricity demand and natural gas prices increase. In its July Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO), EIA forecasts that natural gas prices will be about 36% higher in the second half of the year than in the first half of the year, which the agency expects will lead to a decrease in electricity generation from natural gas—the largest fuel source for U.S. electricity.

Matd, worker over July but. so far, no update suggesting rig and/or contractor mobilised ?

The upside case was that there would be oil and now it seem to be only gas and condensate. Henry Hub at $2.3 make basically all conventional natural gas well onshore uneconomical, only the best shale natural gas wells works.

You can always renter after selling to protect against uncertainty, even pay a premium to do so if the upside is there,, but it doesn't always work if you sell in the dip..

But there is a game going on at the moment, you said earlier you could'nt buy the low, and that same thing just happened again at Ask 1.41.. then Ask went 1.42 and you could buy, then to 1.49 on just a few million volume while bid remains 1.40..

He1, currently low volume trading the dip 1.40/1.41 but its NT to buy market size, 200k. what's that about, they have had a sell off, plenty of shares unless the MM paid more for them and are holding... ?

What sort of flow rates are hoped for ?

I remember PRD, saying they encountered high pressure and the shared price multi-bagged although testing was another phase....

Well has cleaned up, is in condition, have high pressure and is flowing...
