I was under the impression they were ordering it, and I am sure they said they were moving onto Itumbula because it would take time for Tai's smaller diameter drilling to arrive, ...

I am not sure as they raised a huge sum to drill that extra 150m, I think they budgeted $5m for that part of the EWT.. including equipment.. So maybe they could deepen Tai..

If they could get enough out of that well, for a small scale setup, that produces revenue that would be transformational for the company but maybe not for the Market Cap,, But would be enough, for a wordy FOMO update keeping back the important figures, leaving it up to the market to interpret..

There has been a few mentions of fluids, so I guess the update will require a follow on after some modelling to get the full picture.. So maybe it could go crazy on anticipation, a pump before full details are announced..

@Reserved, I suspect they over looked that August date in the presentation, especially after reading the latest RNS, what's needed to support the approval..

Not sure what its like in Australia, but it is not uncommon to see the final approval shortly before drilling

· Environmental Compliance: An independent environmental consultancy has been engaged to complete required Environmental Assessments.

· Risk Management: The Company is finalising risk assessment and contingency plans to be submitted with its drilling approval application.

· Health & Safety: Aztech is preparing HSEMS (Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System) submissions for DEMIRS in support of the re-entry and drilling approval process.

Heron 1 does not produce, or continue to produce the PI's expected 800bbls

End of the day if Heron 1 produces 200bbls, and Heron 2 produces 200bbls, thats still great for the company as they have income all paid for by the markets..

But the positive is the amount MB and the major investor subscribed too, if all above board lol..

The oil may still be there but remember PANRs first attempt at stimulation, then IOG's attempt at stimulating its production well, which they eventually lost..

The formation from which the well flowed at 821 bopd on test was successfully isolated and hydraulically stimulated..

So fracked, and the pressure measured returning these fluids as it stated oil was observed, rather than oil flowed at a rate..

Who knows.. its not clear, and seems lacking

@Wolf, they said they were going to stimulate the existing production zone, so you would expect an improvement, rather than state " oil was observed"

looks like it was previously fracked, ..so maybe the used fracking fluid again

@Kev, they said they stimulated the well, but not how, and I guess they need to clean up and get a flow rate suitable for, I guess a pump.. its very vague

It is planned to install and commission the surface facilities during the current operational window and the approval process for THE CONSTRUCTION PERMIT REQUIRED for installation of the facilities IS AT AN ADVANCED STAGE.

@Throbbinhood, looks like you may have missed the low but if you are waiting on the drilling permit, something plenty of companies are awarded close to drilling then you have to consider paying more when it is granted..

Once Hex and He1 are done plenty will be placing markers here, so could see 19p again..

But who knows, this is AIM

I guess they will have needed to measure the return of drilling and stimulation fluids.. Whether that involved returning a quantity, say 90% of what was put in, or until oil was detected, I don't know..

But it is the sort on news that can come later, either good or bad if the clean up and flow will be fully completed at a later date ?

low cost Gobi Bear-1 exploration well is expected to mobilise to site in the first half of September and to spud before month's end. The planned total depth of 1,800m should be reached in good time to allow for logging and, if merited, testing before the normal winter operational shutdown in late November.
