@GrumpySod,
Its a good sign for the book runners who supported the company, as I suspect they planned to sell the majority of shares to the market, rather than to subscribers.. If they went to subscribers where did the 3p sellers come from, especially since shares traded at 6p the days before.. Also in this case no seasoned AIM PI was going to sell at 3p.. Also if I was the smart money I would be looking for 10-20% profit on shares bought as a subscriber, so somebody kick started the buying with cheap 3.2p shares with little commission. Now the price is higher other sellers will be active..
Thats a lot of volume , way way above normal, add to that forward selling of shares is legal in the UK providing they are guaranteed to get their new owners, unlike shares in a raise that require shareholder approval.. So if the volume remains high its likely the available placing shares will have been sold before the official listing day, so its very unlikely to see the share price drop that day.. Also the reduction in selling pressure should make it easier for the price to rise again..
Maybe after 300m volume has passed we can speculate placing overhang has almost cleared, some suggest volume 3x placing total.
Its all conspiracy,.....
So those shares I bought, the money probably went to the brokers involved in funding the company, so indirectly my money supported the raise, but there is a chance some sold if they had a stop loss set
