Thats the crazy part, she went out at 12, I walked past about 15:30 and noticed the gaps in the curtains which she thinks the burglar used to look out,, then from 5 pm onwards people are returning from work so risky.. so it all points to just after she left, and maybe somebody seeing her leave..

Sidara previously walked, racking up $millions in costs.......

John Wood said it will face costs of around USD11 million related to the proposed takeover attempts by Dubai-based Dar Al-Handasah Consultants Shair & Partners Holdings Ltd, known as Sidara. Some of these will be partially reimbursed by Sidara under an agreement for external costs coverage.

Sidara walked away from a deal two weeks ago, blaming global market turmoil and geopolitical risks, having put forward four takeover proposals.

The final approach valued Wood Group at around GBP1.56 billion.(I believe 230p)

Interesting, Motely Fools claimed Apollo walked, seems not...

One other thing worth mentioning is that in 2023, private equity firm Apollo Global Management made several offers for this company. However, it then suddenly decided it wasn’t interested in a deal. Apollo didn’t say why it pulled out, but the sudden withdrawal suggests it saw something it didn’t like.

I don't see Sidara listed as a major share holder,,,,,, 30% would make it a mandatory offer, and subject to the highest 12 month price..

I was unable to find the share holder list on Woods web site, but its links don't work properly
