Just walked the dog along a road that on one side has an extra wide pavement for cyclists. I can't ever recall seeing a cyclist use it, probably have but it was a long time ago..

Roads 20 mph, very wide with really low traffic volumes, you can walk the full length up and down without seeing a single car.

Today they have started ripping up the road and pavement on the other side to widen the pavement for cyclists...

Surely for such a road with so little use they could use lane markings,..

Gov increasing taxes, cutting benefits while ripping miles of roads/pavements for the masses green cyclists who are a figment of their imaginations...

Surely they monitored, and counted swams of cyclist along these routes to justify the spending

I am thinking good results will gap up, maybe 10-20%, if thats on 5p, thats a full penny,
