it is trading at different periods in different stocks over say a 5 year period that can work. seed should be just a small part of the trading but just make sure your in when money can be made. keep your eyes open and ears to the ground. and then sometimes pull out of the market altogether. no point being in any aim stock when there is blood on the streets. not an exact science but going forward seed should be a small part of a big plan. not the other way around which is the thing on here.

and then there was wrn. worthington group. suspended at 3p. then came out of suspension and rose from 3p to 2 pounds in a couple of weeks. then back into suspension. then they set up another company and i got shares in that from having worthington shares. went on the britdaq with 50 quid charges to buy and sell and having to see your passport to deal. shares went from 5p to 40p and then got suspended. insane. anyway shows how mad this game can be.

interesting. i remember these. i think i was in and out. it was one of them stocks where dreams were dashed. a rare good outcome when money looks lost.

barwick. lol. pop one day. see you in 20 years. i suppose one thing because of the spread the last couple of days drop still has the sell price at 2.6. only difference is the ask price. pop goes the weasel.

midas. money. they are so greedy. if you have millions and you will do anything for money despite being rich and even worse if you gain more from human abuse you deserve to die a painful death. once you have made enough time for at least some morals. but as you say the greed is off the scale.

midas. yep. beckham has no morals. national treasure should mean national disgrace at times. frank bruno the boxer hung about with jimmy saville for years and shook hands with serial killer peter sutcliffe but he is a national treasure. all anyone looks at is face value and talent rather than the ugliness of the person. some people are just so gullible. one thing as you get older you tend to have more morals and integrity. at least some people. lol. not going into all this on a share chat board but it shows just how silly the human race is.

good point and maybe i should not. i have always watched england before in the world cup. maybe i should not bother because it does feel like being a hypocrite.

i will watch england play and that is it. so england v iran on sunday. the lack of posts tells the story because of human rights abuse no one cares what the result is.

barwick. i get what you are saying. it is just being aware of dodgy tipsters which there will be many to people newer to the game. people read these boards whether good, bad or ugly. one thing i will note aim stocks that timing is everything . there isthe type like midas said like bison stock. you have 2 days. the first day and then the morning of the second day to make very quick big profits and then it is over. then there is like seed 4p to 7p a gain that you made by buying at the bottom at that time. then there is the type that triple or more in say 3 weeks from the bottom and then it is over. lastly there is the aim shares that rise over a 12 month/ 18 month period and then it is over. so looking over a 5 year period by trading this gives a chance of timing buys and sells. of course not an exact science but it does show how well you could do. however i do think not being in the market at times over the years is a good idea. money safe ready to move is another winner in my book. anyway that is my plan. lol.

the markets can make tipsters look foolish and sometimes companies wrong foot them. no matter how popular a tipster is once they venture in aim shark territory they can look silly if the fail to get timing right. more or less it is no good tipping a stock when it has tripled in value or taking ages to research a stock and get information out if the stock has already moved up. maybe they have there use if they are any good but as seen talking to management does not mean you are going to win. it is like saying why am i losing in a stock. i talk to the management, take notice of tipsters etc. your losing because of buying at the wrong times, failing to cut a loss quickly, getting too greedy if the share goes up etc. never easy but an aim share can double while a newbie is still reading about it. and then he buys which may be at the top. timing folks. that is the trick.

i suppose with seed if the bottom is 2.5/2.6 and you have already bought in at these prices then it is only a matter of going through the boredom stage to then make money. bottom reached, you are already in at near to the bottom and then wait. so you will make money but as in many trades a longer wait. the trick is you are in at the bottom. it would only change with seed if it went below 2.5 and things were looking weak. if that happens then that changes things.

barwickman. i am not sure what happened to the other 9 percent. lol. if they are just tipping there own investments that is fine. regardless of shares bought in big bad bear markets and when things are going wrong we should be out altogether until safer times and bottoms reached. one problem is getting bored. we all suffer from it. however trading for trading sake and out of being bored is not a good idea. we have to get used to waiting. i think the point over say 5 years plenty of aim opportunities will come up. my opinion sometimes we should have more money in, sometimes less and sometimes nothing in at all ready to go in. i think that was the point with share tips. if someone tips shares every week then that is not a good tipster as he will tip in poor conditions. anyway happy share trading mate over the next 5 years. hopefully you will do well. just remember getting bored may be good for us.

before i settle down for a beer or more like several beers and while markets are closed it was intersting some posts on twitter share tips etc. i always remember the old style tip sheets. they would tip 2oo shares in a year and maybe get 3 right. lol. even worse it was monthly so by the time they told people to take a profit on there very rare getting it right tip the shares had gone back down. 90 percent of tipsters who give load s of share tips and make out you should always be in the market stay clear of them. you will lose. it may leave 1 percent with experience and some integrity. or maybe not. lol.time for a beer.

novum dude. of course your watching ready to make a move . your hoping for the share to pull back. the spread is 2.9/2.6 so making things difficult anyway. why pay 2.9 and straight away 2.6 to sell and if it does pull back more loss. it would be a bad trade straight away as volume is not good and no herd turning up. if the herd intraday turns up with the volume your suckered anyway. shares will be up by the time you move and maybe big spread. you should of just held on to the shares you bought in the 2.5 region. so now it is all buying and selling costs, big spreads and buying at a way higher price for you. of course unless it does pull back.

15 stocks held in 20 years. lol. so let us break that down. say 1 stock a year. you already have been in at least 2 stocks in the last few weeks. ha ha. anyway load of baloney. however i do agree on the trading of aim shares which you are doing. just not on trading for trading sake and clearly losing money and also the fact that you never post your losses.

novum dude. as you know falling in love with any company will likely turn into disaster. it is understandable investers feeling part of the company. but it is a bad trait. however sometimes you have to be bullish. i am looking at a 5 year plan of trading with seed and a few other stocks.. there will be more harl over the next 5 years by using the herd, technicals, news, gut feeling, charts etc to get in and out. the difference with me. i will not be deluded to think i can make profits on every trade and only say about winning trades. you need a profit/ loss account. but then again reality will step in with an account that shows your profits and losses over the last 10 years. it may make ugly reading so maybe not. lol.

longlad. i did see the interview when he said leap would be sold before this year out. lol. someone should say shut the **** up ed. your making it worse. we are well into november now. it looks more likely the first quarter of next year. more like blah, blah, blah.

alot of lifestyle companies on aim are yesterday fish and chip paper. they are around one year and the bust or suspended forever the next year. or they end up with a price of 0.1 basically worthless shares after charges and spread. in the meantime timing trades right can make you some money but the shares should always be sold as the end is all money gone. now the bosses only get money for a short space of time. which brings me to seed. now deed is a different kettle of fish. less likely to go bust which does help being invested. however it becomes absurd if ed and crew think they can milk for many more years without shareholders being happy. so yes. there is a big problem here if ed and crew do not do the right thing. the minimum is them buying shares in seed out of the money they get. we shall see going forward .

just had a look at harl. so very good gain in the last month from about 5p to 28 p where it spiked today. interesting it was 28 p back in november 2021 so took a year to get back. well done on anyone in that stock in the last month. timing is everything in the end.
