Should be an update shortly, would be good to know how they have managed
the difficulties with Covid-19 & developments in licenses, strategy going forward etc.

Nice buys to start the week!

Some papers suggesting MPs want the big supermarkets to pay back the
business rate relief because dividends have been paid....
The fact is without Covid-19 dividends would have been paid anyway & it is clear the
amount paid on safety, extra staff etc has counteracted the relief received, so the supermarkets
are no better off as a result so I think to ask them to pay this back is unfair....

Debts

It’s been less effected than a lot of companies but suffered due to lack of sports & weakened
sports offering plus bad depts from struggling customers who saw paying the phone bill as not that high on their list of priorities.

This has come at a good time for eve with people wanting to get orders & delivery done before Xmas...
If they have enough stock & delivery capacity they should do well!

My family own a small plot just under 4 acres no planning but good road excess & in a village next to housing had an offer out of the blue for 6 times what we paid was very happy, got an agent around to have a look said don’t take that let the market decide he’s given up valuing land like
this as it’s going far far above what he was expecting.
He thinks as interest from saving is so low people are pumping money into these sort of things...
It’s going on shortly will see if he’s right.....

The agreed price for his original stake in the company was 27p/£4.05
Then came the the funding issue which he supported bringing his average price down.

Still 16.5p below the fundraising price, has a long way to go to get to Sir Roger de Hanns
£4.05 paid for his original 20% stake......
With any luck the tide has turned & the boats can set sail in the spring!

Dividendmax says ex-dividend is 19/Nov not sure how much
maybe it will be announced shortly?

Nice to have them back I supplement my retirement income with these looking forward to
a welcome early Xmas present on the 18th/Dec
