I’m heartened by today's RNS of a new non-executive Director who has extensive experience in pregnancy testing. She’s been providing consultancy to MHC in recent months - interestingly her company was acquired by Philips. Is it any coincidence that another non-exec Neil Mesher is a leading Manager for Philips Europe ?
Perhaps these two non-execs might push management along a bit faster ?
I got that marketing message too - smudge99 - I agree with your thoughts as to what it signifies but I suppose it’s an initial step to reach out to its email base of contacts. Boy how I wish the board would do something significant for its suffering shareholders.
You’ve hit the point spot on Henners007 - this will be used for recreational use and the market is staggeringly large - it’s just a case of time for us as I’m sure we’ll have the market to ourselves at least for a few years. GLA
Today’s RNS continues the excellent news flow which has helped propel the advance in the company’s shareprice. It does seem to me that this is likely to continue to be the case for the rest of the year as more commercial deals get announced.
The early sales figures given for the half year are in themselves transformational in such a short period and augurs well for the 2nd half.
Looking very good for us all.
With analysts meeting this Friday should help promote news editorial over the weekend. Then Monday’s shareholders/investors meeting should help maintain a firm sp through next week.
I’d like to think this time next week the sp will be even higher than now.
I'm sure sales figures are going to be good - initial ones are bound to be iffy - how can anyone expect otherwise but having said that the product is staring you in your face in our local Boots. Long term this augers well.
Good point dosanddonts - I think I first bought these 2013 paying something like 60p. Admitted I bought a whole lot more in the 7p placing but what a stress ride it’s been - total failure at points but turned into success somehow - goodness knows someone ‘up there’ must have been correcting Barder’s mistakes.
Still it is where it is - according to the Boots website, it’s flying off the shelves- we know it costs a modest amount to make - so sooner or later we’re going to see great financials. Then it will finally rise and stay there. GLA
Many of us had thought LO would have converted some/all warrants when the sp was in the mid 50s but gradually this board started talking itself into the risk of the FDA turning it down - and I expect LO too felt that way.
Which in my opinion explains why they jumped yesterday. What will move this sp and rise consistently, is sales news & more sales news.
Margins are going to be massive even if the sales price slips - this is an obvious slow burner now going one way - upwards. Patience a little longer will reap big rewards. GLA
I would have expected the sponsoring brokers to have managed the opening dealings to encourage deals around the initial placing 55p - which is the normal thing to do - but clearly there’s been no intervention as far as I can tell.
If you believe in the industry dynamics, then this could be a great price to enter it.
Jamock - I think we've all been naive with MHC - and I include myself in that. If the management follow this board I'd be surprised and are unlikely to buy shares now as their starting to get options given to them easily now - sometimes it seems to me, just for turning up for work !
The chairman was the last buyer and paid the equivalent of approx 27p and as for privilege to price sensitive info, we've had that for now. The Boots news was premature or leaked - either way it was mishandled. The management don't seem to have the flair for day to day supporting the shareprice like some other dynamic AIM stocks. Their lack of regular news which I think should be a given with new AIM stocks (which mhc is definitely one in its new guise), is why the initial shine in the stockmarket has been lost and it's going to take some real surprising good news to shift it and change buyers perceptions.
That said, they do now have an exceptional range of products available for sale and if they can still make money on the lower priced ones, then we are in a good place going forward. If I'm honest with myself, I'm p*ssed off that new punters get in so cheap when we've been in it for so long at much higher prices. GLA
Interesting deals today and spread widening - but just added 100k at just 1.35p !
So what will our shares be worth tomorrow given the MM seemingly doing well out of us ?
In the summary of recent posts from Fox - it goes through stuff we know eg June 1st 6pm is closing time for share holdings to receive any proceeds for litigation - there was something new. That is that Chris Gilbert will no longer be a director of the new company. I’m not sure how I feel about that.
Unlikely you’ll see any share purchases- we’ve seen only limited purchases to date - the non-execs don’t own any either. I maintain it’s simply the lack of regular commercial news that’s held us back - I’m quite sure it will start to move positively once the BoD have understood that fact.

Nice summary Chizzwizzy47 - thank you.
I've said it before that FUM has been a Traders dream with its peaks and troughs. Right now, I'm sure we're all surprised of the 20% plus fall since commercialisation started - but the sales we can see for ourselves that are happening right here in the UK , never mind those in Europe means money is going to stream into Futura. Remember the product is easily manufactured - I doubt it is expensive to produce and is selling at a crazy high sum which if it holds is going to be so lucrative.
Patience is certainly the name of the game for shareholders right now. GLA
I think the arguments on both sides are unrealistic on the facts as we know them. Of course anything is possible but to conclude that MHC could be interested or have the management skill to take over is not the way I see things here from the vantage point of initially buying into Concepta years ago. Most people that have been shareholders of MHC will have lost money or face losing money if they were to sell now.
Not much of a reward for seeing the company through the good trading on Covid - money in the bank now - yes - but if we're brutally honest with ourselves the only ones to have done well are the management who are paid well and have started to build up decent Option positions.
Stockmarket technical analysis of MHC is wholly unrealistic as this stage of the game - we just need commercial trading news and lots of it - then the sp will move.
Checking the Amazon site, there’s just the initial 5 tests Weight management, etc. I hope they concentrate on the Pharmacy sites in future. That’s where the growth will be - ideal sales for us at these price points. We’ll be able to see for ourselves how well sales are doing. A good day for us.
