I'll be reading what you folk write on IQ-AI et al. My only contribution will be to say follow Eve Sleep in approach to their next TU which should be January. I know that's a long time but it will go quickly

Hi Leas, I bought Imm a few weeks ago, purely because Nolupus and Eva mentioned its prospects elsewhere. And since then I've bought RMS after reading about it on the Imm Banter squad thread..
You're completely right of course but while the Imm news was slack I personally found it's helpful to read these references in a low-key and non aggressive corner of LSE.

Boots: My 'take' is that they've sold the amount they thought they'd sell, maybe too far ahead of schedule. People here were worried that Boots wouldn't shift the gift range when it was announced. That it's gone better than planned should be celebrated, and we can celebrate even more if they can get fresh stock in before it's too late for Xmas.
The Black Friday discounts seem to be modest, but they are getting in early and with a larger window, ahead of competitors who'll offer larger discounts (30%) but only around the BF/CM weekend. If Eve were completely out of stock there wouldn't be discounts, and if nothing was selling there'd be big discounts. Seems we could be getting the balance about right. Well, that the optimist's view anyway.

I'm not sure I'd say people are obsessing on update / no update. It's just that the price usually rises before an update. It usually falls after an update, but worse things happen at sea.
If the update is in Jan then people can have a fun time with their cash in the interim and still be back in time for the rise. That's my view anyway. Can't speak for others.

Hi Wyndrum, I was only suggesting a rise IF there's an update announcement and I don't think there will be one (though there could be). You were correct on the falls so far, and while there's so much going on elsewhere, why would people bother with Eve till there's the prospect of an update. This is the quiet time for Eve news.
But don't charts 'say' that we'll re-test 7p in the run-up to an update, as was last time? None of the signs have really changed; we seem to be doing at least as well as we were.

I myself still think the odds are against an update but maybe 25% chance there will be one, as in 2018. We can't ask IR as I guess they'd say it's market sensitive. They'd be right; news of an update would certainly have money flowing back into this stock. Wouldn't the new resistance level be 7p?
