Also don't understand the fascination with odey on here, he only holds 2%, if metro is compelling, odey holdings make no difference. The issue lies with metros back story, not odey

I don't know how you can claim that the only way metro can stay at these levels Is if it continues to make a loss. Appreciate you're saying the market is waiting to find out how much, the market knows much more than everyone else, therefore the price is set with that knowledge in mind and for me, even with a profit well ahead of expectations, £1.40 territory is where metro will roam.

What you seem to be missing is, all my posts have said its a long term hold, I've just tried to advise that short term rampers should be ignored. Deary me

Banks will do well but the risk of defaults increase at the same time. These rate rises are not affecting the metro share price, don't know how many times I've said it. If they were going to affect the share price, it'd affect the share price before this news comes to light in the press.

With odey gone, who's controlling the share price now lol

Additionally, if anyone's listened to the nonsense over time on here that odey has somehow controlled the share price, don't kid yourself on that it'll somehow fly from here. Another 12-18 months of steady, solid results and increased confidence in metro will be reflected in the share price.

As stated the other day, any exit from odey would be controlled, considering this was £1.40 less than a year ago, not done anything positive for share price.

I'd be delighted to be proven wrong

As I've said before, metro will float between £1 and £1.40, there is nothing unusual happening here and any resulting odey action will be controlled should there be some form of exit. Don't get carried away by the rampers would be my advice for anyone reading this.
