Shawbrooks stock based merger valued the co-op at £800m, be interesting to see what valuation they place on metro if the same approach is taken

And maybe the board are actually alot smarter than many of us have given them credit for, maybe all this is just to encourage bidders when they're nowhere near the stage that has been made out in the press around refinancing

Lol, it WONT be interesting to see the shorter close their position because it will be slow and measured with little to no impact on the share price, we've already seen this with metro In the last few months, shorts closed, nothing happened, plus the board are clueless so don't expect them to do anything significant that impacts share price positively, expect them to do something which negatively impacts share price, just like recently and you stand yourself In good stead
