Wheres all the chancers of late?, fully expect to see some other "new" names pop up with similar nonsense in the next few months.
No chance it drops back to 60p imo, unless there's bad news somewhere, I think it'll float around where it is but any good news will shift it anywhere to around £1.40, I do feel metro could be targeted for acquisition but based on current share price I don't see that bid valuing metro at anywhere beyond £1.50 per share
I remember some mad folk on here a while ago suggesting metro would buy sainsburys bank lol.
Realism always welcome
Imo Carlyle were just helping out hedge fund mates, after all, no bid actually arrived
Yes I did start that with the likes of you because it was obvious nonsense that was being posted about this share price, on reflection I was right to call it out, I don't need to make that up. Its here for all to see, i like to call out utter nonsense when I see it. To bring some balance to those thinking of investing, or investing more. I'm a long term backer of metro, I'm just a realistic one, and will continue to be.
Don't say that RG, you'll be called a deramper rather than actually just pointing out reality
Further confirmation, if ever it was needed that rising interest rates do nothing for the metro share price, does it more damage that good
Lol, here comes another new poster, we'll marauding as a new poster anyway!!!
Lol
You might be happy, market isn't, and that's what matters
An educated response Legal
If its so undervalued at basic levels and has been even more undervalued due to historical lows, now with a return to profitability, that has been known is going to be the case for months, why no serious buys this morning, why no meaningful move in share price, why no bid since the no bid you mention.
What I've always tried to say on here is that people come up with reasons for why this share price will move significantly, yet this stuff is already known. So its madness to assume that the share price will rerate without some significant unknown event occurring. A significant event that shifts the SP can always happen, no one knows. That's the gamble.
At least we can see who's posts we should dismiss on this forum, again
Encouraging results but not unexpected, won't do much for share price upon opening imo but we shall see.
Exactly legal, theyll no doubt come up with another scenario which doesn't materialise. Utter nonsense. It's all known that metro will have increased profitability etc, the risk mitigates the reward, NEXT
Funny on here, anyone see the trend where randoms join the chat and call out "derampers" for being realistic about the share price direction, and then the share price drops by a fair bit, can spot them a mile off, theyre daft enough to think it's not obvious too lol
I hope you're right, I just don't see anything significantly shifting metro in the short term
Distinct lack of rampers, be great to hear their thoughts on Lloyd's slumping despite posting massive interim profits and raising its net interest margin guidance. Was this not being suggested as being the reason why metro sp will benefit!!!!
