Ionic is interesting, it looks to be very similar to Mkango, with an African RE mine (they own 60%, due to move to 94% it says), and recycling projects in Belfast and Brazil based on Queens University Belfast technology. Certainly the Belfast project seems to be twice the NPV of our US project. Does anyone know what the technology is and how it differs from our short-loop? It seems that they have 5.2bn shares in issue, at 0.6c Aus, which I reckon puts their market cap at about £15M. Seems cheap on the face of it, but I don't know what capital they will need to raise in the coming year. The "substantial" UK govt grant sounds positive, and as you say it's the same fund we have bid for...
