Agreed BB however I found the local side far more interesting and enjoyable than the expat side. Eating / drinking in the local hawker centres etc. Singapore is “living in a bubble” and I didn’t want that. Majority of expats only wanted to know how much you earn, what car you drive and which school you picked for the kids. Very boring really.

Singapore is definitely more forward thinking than the UK. Has been for many years in many different aspects of life. Read up on the history of how modern day Singapore was built and that’s obvious.

Thought I’d sold out of Cine but have realised I kept 7288 shares in my SIPP (don’t look at that one too often). Not worth selling at todays value but would be nice if I recouped something.

I’ve emailed to sign the engagement form but in honesty have written it off as I dont believe anything will come from it.

Worth a go though so thanks for putting the effort in, assume you must be holding a lot more than me
