Agreed Ghia. This doesn't mean we all need to sell and surprisingly i think the sp has held up well. (i thought 100-120p when i first read it). At least they no know 100% where our drug is needed in the covid cycle but not enough data for an EUA for hospital use just based on our p2 hospital trial. So p3 is where it is now at. My preference would be for Activ2 to move to Activ3 based on this news.
My overall feeling is that will come good but not until p3 readout.
Im holding 200k+ shares so not deramping, just sharing my thoughts as a LTH. By god we have been patient and it is somewhat underwhelming.
Its also quite telling that they only mention the p3 trial in the RNS not the Activ2 trial.
Woody how is this a brilliant RNS? Good safety data at best but lets not kid ourselves. IMO this is what as expected, especially after RM's comments a month ago.
It is all over BBC this morning? Is RM standing in front of Southampton hospital with a camera in front of him? Not this time.
Feeling very conflicted this morning. HT results showing little effect unless severe breathlessness occurs.
Safety concerns - tick
At home use - tick (but what is the market if only given to at risk patients?)
No long covid data after waiting an age to get these results out.
What does this mean to our Activ 2 trial where any age (=18) can go on it? Will we be removed from it if it shows similar data?
Should we not have been on active 3?
Hospital/oxygen patients is where the drug works best.
Im holding but less confident on the overall market now. Our p3 trial will be the make or break and that won't be until circa September time i expect. I also don't think its enough for an EUA and i'm not sure the Activ2 will help that either.
Anyone else feeling the same?
Huge amount going on behind the scenes. Still wouldn’t be surprised if a M&A before any meaningful results. Maybe positive HT data and then boom - share suspension. I’m convinced a big pharma will still want sng001 in its armoury whether you or they believe Covid is on its way out or not. (Look at India for example) Exciting times ahead.
If you really thought that you would sell so you don’t think it’s going to 16p! All talk no action. You either believe in the science or you don’t. It’s a simple as that. Time to place your chips or leave the room.
Shouldn't really have been expecting late March as that was still Q1. Im confident we will see the results in April (according to my parents Nurse thats correct too)
Had to sell a chunk to finish the house bits but now i'm holding (around 150k shares) till end of P3 results and will look at it again then.
Target is still around £10 minimum for a successful p3 trial. If Active 2 goes to plan you can double it quite easily.
Drop is SP doesn't worry me one bit. It's only dropping to make a market as we are in a no news vacuum. Same story last July.
Im sure the HT results will show the right trend but won't show the blockbuster results of the hospital trial. Maybe they will combine the results into one to show a more significant circa 250 patient trial.
Im keeping a low profile (too much work to do on the new house) but i'm still very confident RM and the team, know what they are doing, even if they are swimming against the tide. GLA
Most late trades for a while - nearly £1m. My guess yesterday that polar are increasing may be right. Happened last time they bought £5m worth. Sustained drop for a few days and then a quick increase back to base price. Expect that’s what we’re seeing here along with an increased activity now that we are entering Q2. GLA
Can’t be long as moving house today. This sustained pressure on the SP has all the hallmarks of Polar capital increasing their holding. Makes sense so close to q2 results. Extracting the shares from the weak. Their not having mine! Hold strong.
