There is a graph in the presentation (slide 27) that supported the results where the EPL looks to be about double the dividend cost.

What a shame! I was holding this for the long term. I’ve sold out this morning at 109.5p to free up capital. Time to move on and find new opportunities. Good luck all!

The recent surge in precious metal prices should be materially boosting BullionVault’s revenues, given that most charges and fees are levied as a percentage of client account values. As a long-term investor, AUG should therefore be benefiting from this operating leverage. That said, I do still wonder what the ultimate exit strategy is for BV within the AUG portfolio. In the meantime, it’s encouraging that the investment is dividend-paying, which helps offset a portion of AUG’s ongoing management fees, and hopefully we’ll see a further valuation uplift reflected at the next results.

Currency/exchange risk.

I think so. I’m expecting some cost saving upgrades from the integration of DLG. Think we should start to see some chunky buybacks over the coming years too which should further drive up the price bar any macroeconomic catastrophes

I’m enjoying the steady climb higher after the initiation of the buyback. Also saw that Naked Wines was tipped by BarronInvestments on X. Have always valued and highly rated his tips.

I’m holding till the half year results and then making a decision as to whether to carry on with Aviva. Hoping for a fuller update on the integration of DLG and potential synergies. An upgrade to cost savings could be a good catalyst.

Imagine how much higher this would be without all the negative market sentiment caused by tariffs.

Good to see that Zopa have started advertising their new current account and allowing people to sign up. Looks like an attractive product but you can’t set it up using the current account switching service so it’s seems like a lot of effort on behalf of the customer to switch.

I think this looks like a great deal. Purchased DLG at the start of their turnaround. The cost savings look easily achievable £125m per annum looks quite low if they are looking to cut 2600 roles. The payroll savings could easily account for that annual cost saving - let alone cheaper finance etc.

Looks like another exit for Augmentum sadly this time at what looks like a price that will wipe all value of the stake. Amazing that it’s gone from £10m stake valued in the September 2023 to nothing. Also, interesting that Augmentum haven’t put out an RNS related to the acquisition.

Maybe Tencent were getting impatient on an IPO and realising any value in their investment.

How are these platforms so bad?!? I’m with Interactive Investor and I think I got first communication a few days after the confirmation of the vote to move. Presented with my options over a month ago. Sent action instructions the other week.

I’d suggest leaving some of these platforms if you’ve had a bad experience.

Looks like another successful exit for AUG from Onfido at a nice premium to stated value in previous results. Hopefully this will start to close the discount as even more of the NAV will be backed up with cash.

Always at a loss as to why FUM can’t even publish their financial calendar. Head to the Investor Relations section of the website and you’ll see nothing for 2024.
