Right on. Unless you are a trader (and 95% are losers) then you shouldn't be looking at daily or weekly fluctuations. Need to zoom out. Buy or hold and see where we are in a year or two.
It will end in a takeover I'm convinced. So no reason to sell as an investor.
So no need to sell, buy or hold. Whether it's £3 or £30, they will be taken over in the future. For the next few years though, solid independent company in a growing market with a massive cash pile.
Did you attend the investor presentation in 2024? Dennis made it very clear they are extremely selective when choosing their buyers/partners...ie, those with a very high likelyhood of progressing to FID.

I don't think the majority shareholders would approve any takeover until the share price has climbed back to £2-3. Institutions ploughed in £250 million at £4 so many will have high averages and they will want to see a return. Perfectly feasible the share price is over £4 in a couple of years of course as deals, government support are announced.
