All we’re actually bothered about on what is floated now is a continuation of Havieron development under current or similar arrangements, along with use of the Telfer facility. I cannot see any benefit to any party by interfering with that.

Or, what’s it worth, or Ncm’s 70%, without Telfer processing plant. Telfer is crucial to the plan as it stands, for both parties and a buyer.

As I said before, and subject to the JV, it’s probably the Telfer processing facility that an eye needs to be kept on. Any NCM buyer with an interest in Hav ( why not?) I suggest would think similarly, even if NCM part of Hav finished up for sale.

Whatever else, it goes to show the pragmatism investors should permit on corporate matters, alongside company progress, speed of decline, POG, Russians, Chinese and all that.

Yes, pi's get to vote, probably on a recommended bid for the company. I believe that is also on the sale of significant assets, such as Hav, as one might expect. But I haven't looked at the detail of that last recently. All, perhaps, for future consideration, months along if at all.

Reading the article, I am inclined to believe there is meat in it. If so, the process will be a longish one I should think, and the Hav JV just a part of it.
If it goes on, and I think at a guess it will, we shall see whether Greatland is inclined to comment to it’s shareholders, on the major Hav asset.

Development of Hav should continue anyway, in the same way as before, though if by some major change Ggp finished up with it, there would be a lot of contingent practical developmental considerations to deal with.

They’ll have to put a price on Hav. A good thing. And possibly give Greatland the opportunity to buy it, according to what’s actually in the smaller print in the JV?

Well, what can any of us say? I said my bit earlier, along these lines. We all invested in here, hoping for increased value. That seems to be the case, but at the moment it’s in the ground.
What NCM do is up to them, but doesn’t affect the value of Ggp 30%.
Can’t really avoid the corporate actions whatever, whenever. Have to live with them. And if somebody buys my shares at a profit, I’ll say thankyou. Or if the overall prospects of Havieron increase, I’ll say thankyou too.
At the moment, one newspaper article indicating conjecture on Hav. And some of us conjecture also.

I think you should have a word with Ms. Duhe. Tell her to put ‘The Australian’ right, and further it’s upsetting the Ggp chat board and you don’t like it.

In any event whatever might or might not happen at some indeterminate stage, it should not detract from the then current price, rather the opposite.

But pi’s will know enough in a general sense, to understand the difference between their aspirations and what can actually happen with corporates.

Anyway, anyone can make a bid, anytime. If we're talking the obvious on what we know, Wyloo can go to 14% at Ggp at the drop of a hat, I imagine saving a few bob overall.

The possibilty for Wyloo to take steps has been there, and still is, since they bought in. I thought there was agreement on that.

For completeness on mine, I believe the Forrest investment in FMG is through Minderoo, which he part-founded, I think with his wife.
