You could have guessed at the prospect of dots when Wyloo came on board. Some did. There’s still only the one, I think. . Fortescue Metals is an entirely different proposition, in corporate identity and as I see it, interests. It’s just that there is a connection through Mr. Forrest, who has something of a mining bent, and goes out, leads, on his own.

So the immediate thoughts may be, would they fund it, and put an operating team in place to get on with it, under their own corporate structure.

Ggp may be a little fish that finishes wrapped into the bigger fish Wyloo.

I think it’s number 1 and see how it pans out.

There seem to be 3 alternatives.
1. He is likely to be falling in line to NCM request that he align with them (if he fails to update on behalf of Ggp.)
2. He has no issue with regard to the Ggp price, or wants it that way.
3. He has no desire to drive up the total Havieron asset value ( contrary to what may be advantageous at this time to Ncm )

As others remarked, with that in the RNS and a heavyweight board, which it truly is, it seems to suggest more than what is necessary for just trotting along behind NCM.

Did that one a bit yesterday. I expressed the view that one would have thought would fall to Greatland. The short thread, ignored by most, was titled ‘All Change?’

It’s a perfectly fair consideration, and normally pi’s welcome buyouts, at a premium to current price, take their profit, and move on.
That’s not to say it will happen - it’s simply a possibility.
Company reps and their supporters address the future of the company and its assets. They do not address the possibility that that future may not include pi’s.
That’s not negative. It’s something you get used to.

I see what’s being argued, but regardless of what is published does anybody really think all parties won’t get a form of current valuation on the Havieron resource.
Whilst they don’t publish, I accept it may keep Ggp price low for anybody interested in that, also.
Proper conundrum, but that’s just from a complete outsider pi in the dark view.

Wyloo came in as a strategic investor. They own the greatest amount individually, and are very likely to own more - definitely if there is a bid. I very strongly believe Greatland will make no moves without at least their in depth advice and acquiescence,

Whatever is in it, the JVA is best regarded as a backstop to protect both parties at the time it was signed. Changing circumstances may bring about changing strategies. There is nothing to prevent interested parties negotiating a mutually agreed and beneficial outcomes according to their independent directions of travel.
